67 : baby stuff

Jaeyun wasn't expecting something good or nice when Mr Park asked him to go somewhere with him, turned out they just go shopping for baby stuff. Mr Park said it's a tradition in his family that the man should prepare for the baby a little by little.

And now, Jaeyun just done built up a baby cot bed by himself inside a room next to Hyejin's bedroom. There are few baby things just like baby cart, toys, baby cot bed and some more. He smiles when he done built it up.

He eagerly want to tell Hyejin about this let's keep it as a secret for a few months from now. He glanced at his watch and realized it's almost lunchtime so he should call her. Doesn't want his woman feel worried about him.

Jaeyun took out his phone and call her. While waiting for her response he wiped his face using a napkin. He won't be at penthouse until evening so he needs to make sure Hyejin is fine.

"Jaeyun?"

"Love? It's almost lunch, have you eaten yet?"

"Yeah, Sunhee cooked for us today but I can't eat them all maybe because you aren't here with us."

"I'm sorry, love, but I will go home a little late today. Please eat a lot so you don't lose any strength, love. I'm fine here and I'm trying to eat well too. I promise you I will shower you and our baby with kisses tonight!"

"Really? I can't wait to cuddle with you and Jaeyun, do you want to know about your younger brother?"

"Jungwon? What is wrong with him?"

"Seems like Jungwon and Sunhee are going through a hard phase in their relationship. It was so awkward here and I can't wait for you to come home!"

She sounds like she's whining from the other side. Jaeyun bite his lips holding himself from giggling. He ran his fingers through his hair with the thought of Hyejin pouting her lips, looking so cute in his sight.

"Me too, love. Can't wait to see you this evening. Please wait for me, okay?" he asked and she hummed softly.

"We will wait for you, Jaeyun!"

The call ended and Jaeyun look at the baby cot bed once again before he gets up to continue his work. Little did he know, Mr and Mrs Park silently watch him from the door, admire him.

"The way he act exactly just like you!" Mrs Park said while poking her husband's cheek.

At the penthouse.

Sunhee cleaning the kitchen after she done cooking meals for dinner. Since this morning she noticed how Jungwon trying to communicate with her but she tried her best to stay away from him. She still awkward after what happened last night.

She was completely out of her mind. If Jungwon didn't bite her lips then she won't realized anything. Suddenly, someone joining her cleaning the kitchen. She looks at that someone and her eyes widened.

"J-jungwon..."

"Don't running away from me, please? I'm trying to talk to you since this morning but you always find ways of running away. Hyejin noona in her room so now we got times. Talk to me, Sunhee!" he pleaded.

"There is nothing we can talk about, Jungwon. It's clearly my fault and you should scold me! I broke the rules of our so-called relationship. Remember the reason you asked me to be your girlfriend. Your wishes will be fulfill soon so please don't ruin anything!" she washed her hand and walked pass him.

Jungwon gritted his teeth, feels annoyed by her reaction. He knows this won't works out for them but what can he do now? There's no way he repeat the same mistake just like last night.

He could trapped in a huge dilemma, just like Jaeyun. But the difference between them is Jaeyun always ready for everything and he don't. Jungwon still young and he has so many dream to reach.

"Sunhee, listen to me first! Talk to me so I know how to fix this! Please don't turned your back and leave like a coward!" she stood there like her body went numb.

She glared at Jungwon, "a coward? It is me or you the coward one?!"

Her voice echoing around the penthouse that caused Hyejin to come downstairs. Her eyes got teary by his words just now. Doesn't Jungwon knows how hurts she felt everytime they touched but it didn't mean anything to Jungwon?

"That's not..."

"What?! You used me, remember? You used me for your own advantage! I know everything, I've heard it all! Once you got what you want and you'll leaving and I... I got nothing! Who's the coward now? Me or you Jungwon?!" she grips the hem of her sweater.

"I'm sorry, Sunhee. But let me explain to you-" she immediately talked back, "there is nothing you have to explain because I'm the dumb one who believe everything since the beginning. I hate you so much-I hate you!"

Hyejin, who already heard and saw everything thinks she have to interrupt but Jungwon way more faster than her. Her eyes widened when she saw what happened next. Jungwon pulled Sunhee closer and captured her lips-kissing her.

She gasped and covered her mouth, quickly look away. Didn't realized when, suddenly someone closed her eyes and pulled her somewhere. Already familiar with the cologne she looks up and Jaeyun gives her a sweet smile.

"Jaeyun-" he left a peck on her lips and cupped her face. His eyes looking deeply into hers and pulled her for another kiss.

Hyejin didn't hesitate to kiss him back because she missed him. She can't wait to cuddle with Jaeyun tonight. She won't ask Jaeyun what he had done with her father.

"Let them settle down their relationship. I'm pretty sure Jungwon is mature enough to handle a problem like this." he said while caressing her jaw.

She hummed and nodded.

"Well, then let's go Jaeyun! I miss you so much and our baby too!" she said excitedly while rubbing her belly.

Jaeyun carried her with a bridal style towards his bedroom. He look at the downstairs, Jungwon softly talked to Sunhee.

Perhaps, explaining everything.
