Today was the first day of joining our new office, for the next two years we are going to be bound to this place.

I woke up early in excitement, and now I was styling my hair standing in front of the mirror.

A pair of arms draped around my waist, I looked in the mirror, Reem's head popped up from behind me.

"Good morning sexy" she grinned ear to ear. I glared at her, and broke the lock of her arms from around me.

"Ayeshaaaa" she whined, "please, don't be upset with me, I apologized to you so many times already"

"You really think apologising is enough for what you did! You just got the car yesterday, and you got into an accident on the first day only? I told you not to go yesterday, but when have you ever listened to me, you only do what you want, my opinion doesn't matter to you at all" I crossed my arms at my chest.

"That's not true yaar, I always listen to you. I was just too excited to go outside, that's why I went. And believe me it was not my fault at all, there was a stupid guy who hit my car, it was his fault"

"I don't care whose fault it was, you shouldn't have gone out, what if you got hurt, how would I have explained it to everyone at home. Please Reem, leave me alone, I don't feel like talking to you right now" I was about to walk away, but she held my hand.

"Please forgive me for the last time, I promise I'll behave from now on, I will not disappoint you." She requested. "I am saying I'm sorry, what else do you want me to do now? Should I do sit-ups now?" She asked

"Yes, do it" I said

"Huh! You can't be serious" she said

"No, I'm very serious, do it"

"Fineeee" she put out her bottom lip. "One" she started doing sit-ups, while counting loudly. "Tweeeeeenty" she looked so tired by the twentieth one, my heart softened.

"Ok that's enough" I said

"Really" she immediately stopped, her face lit up. "So do you forgive me now?" She asked making a cute face, I couldn't resist it, I smiled.

"Yes" I nodded, she pounced on me, and hugged me tightly

"Thank you thank you thank you. I love you so much" she shouted, I chuckled.

"I love you too. Now if you are done with your love confession, shall we go and have breakfast, we should leave soon, arriving late on the first day will not give a good impression" I reminded her, she stood straight.

"I have to get ready" she said then turned around towards the closet, "ow my thighs hurt" she rubbed

"You need to start working out Reem, you have zero stamina" I said.

"Yeah! I will start from Monday" she said and went into the closet.

"Today is Monday" I shouted

"I am talking about next Monday" she said, I shook my head in disbelief and went downstairs to check on the breakfast.

The cook has started to come, so life will be easier now. Reem and I told her to prepare our breakfast and went to get ready.

When I came into the kitchen, it smelled so good.

"Didi! Your breakfast is ready" she said looking at me.

"Ok bring it to the dining table" I went to the dining area.

I was waiting impatiently for my food, I was starving. She brought it and put it on the table, seeing poached eggs, sweet potato hash and Greek yogurt blueberry smoothie made me more hungry.
