As the days passed, Lyanna watched with a mix of wonder and concern as Fyrion, her dragon companion, continued to grow at an astonishing rate. What had once been a small creature was now twice its size, its scales shimmering with newfound strength and vitality.
Lyanna knew that keeping Fyrion hidden would become increasingly challenging as he grew, especially with the approaching start of the new school year at Hogwarts. She couldn't bear the thought of leaving him behind, but she also couldn't risk exposing him to the scrutiny of others.
Determined to find a solution, Lyanna turned to the library, scouring the shelves for any books on magical enchantments that could help her. After hours of searching, she finally stumbled upon a dusty tome hidden away in a forgotten corner.
The book contained a wealth of information on concealment spells and charms, including one that caught Lyanna's eye: the Undetectable Extension Charm. This powerful enchantment would allow her to expand the interior of an object without altering its external appearance, essentially creating a pocket dimension where Fyrion could reside undetected.
Excited by the possibility, Lyanna enlisted the help of Mippy, the family house-elf, to acquire a suitable container for Fyrion. With Mippy's assistance, she procured a sturdy magical suitcase designed to withstand the rigors of travel.
Once she had the suitcase in her possession, Lyanna set to work casting the Undetectable Extension Charm. With focused determination, she channeled her magic into the spell, watching as the interior of the suitcase expanded to accommodate Fyrion's growing form.
When the enchantment was complete, Lyanna opened the suitcase to reveal a spacious, comfortable chamber, complete with soft bedding and plenty of room for Fyrion to move around. She felt a pang of guilt at the thought of confining him, but she knew it was necessary to keep him safe.
"Forgive me, Fyrion," Lyanna whispered, her voice filled with regret as she gently placed him inside the enchanted suitcase. "I promise I'll let you out whenever I can, but for now, this is the only way to keep you hidden."
Fyrion regarded her with intelligent eyes, seeming to understand her words. With a soft sigh, Lyanna closed the suitcase and secured it with a locking charm, vowing to do whatever it took to protect her beloved dragon companion.
As she stowed the suitcase away in her room, Lyanna couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in her heart. At least he'll be able to fly freely in this new home. She thought.

As the time to return to Hogwarts drew near, the Malfoys, save Lucius, made their way to platform 9 ¾. Lyanna carried a heavy heart as she clutched her newly acquired suitcase, enchanted to house Fyrion. Her mind raced with thoughts of how to keep her dragon safe and undetected.
Draco, always observant, couldn't help but notice the additional suitcase. "What's with the new luggage, Lyanna? Planning on a fashion show?"
Lyanna smiled lightly, masking her anxiety. "Just bringing new sets of clothing. Figured they'd come in handy for our Hogsmeade weekend trips."
Draco eyed her skeptically, sensing there was more to the story. He shrugged, dismissing the thought for now. They both bid their mother farewell as they boarded the Hogwarts Express.
Once settled on the train, Lyanna made her intentions clear. "Draco, from now on, I won't be joining you and your friends. Especially with Parkinson always glued to your side."
Draco's face fell. "Why are you distancing yourself from me? Ever since the attack on Granger last year, and even during the summer, you've been distant."
Lyanna's eyes hardened. "I know you helped Father drop Tom Riddle's diary into Ginny Weasley's cauldron by being the distraction. You lied to me, Draco."
Draco's face flushed with a mix of anger and guilt. "You don't understand. Father—"
"I don't care what Father wanted," Lyanna interrupted. "You lied to me. You were involved in something that put lives at risk, including those of my friends."
Draco clenched his fists. "You're the one who's changed, Lyanna. Ever since you got sorted into Ravenclaw, you've been different. Hanging out with Gryffindors, acting like you're better than us."
"Maybe I have changed," Lyanna said quietly. "Maybe I'm trying to find who I really am, and that means not following blindly in Father's footsteps. You need to think about who you want to be, Draco. Do you want to be his puppet, or your own person?"
Draco was taken aback, anger and hurt flashing in his eyes. He turned away, staring out the window. "You don't understand anything."
"I understand more than you think," Lyanna replied softly. "I'm disappointed in you, Draco. I thought you were better than this."
Silence hung between them, heavy and uncomfortable. Draco refused to look at her, and Lyanna knew the rift between them had grown wider. She hoped, deep down, that her words would make him think, would push him to question the path he was on. But for now, she needed to focus on her own journey, and the secret she carried in her enchanted suitcase.
As the train chugged along, Lyanna retreated to a compartment away from Draco and his Slytherin friends.

During the first hour of the journey, Lyanna wanted to spend some time alone, trying to clear her mind of any worries about the possible problems that arise every year. As she sat alone in a train compartment, she looked at her reflection in the train window, observing each of her facial features, wondering which features she got from which parent. Suddenly, the train jerked, the car swayed, and the lamps running along the ceiling flickered and died, one by one, until all was dark.
Lyanna whispered to herself, "What's going on?" She noticed a thin wisp of steam escaping her mouth as she spoke. She thought perhaps they had broken down. She wiped a patch of condensation from the window, staring out into the darkness. She would be lying if she said she wasn't scared.
Suddenly, the car swayed violently before righting itself. The metal window trim at Lyanna's fingertips began to vibrate. A hand—slimy and scabbed, a hand of death—gripped the half-open compartment door, pushing it aside. It revealed a towering, cloaked figure, its face hidden beneath its black hood. The folds of the hood trembled... It was a Dementor. A chill, rattling intake of air was heard. An eerie, painful sound swelled in Lyanna's ears, the sound of a woman screaming. Lyanna's eyes rolled up, eyelids fluttering. And then... a silvery white light drifted from her mouth. The world spun off its axis, and Lyanna almost fell, tumbling hard to the ground, her muscles twitching. The thunder cracked, and lightning painted the icy windows, bringing her back to her right mind.
Just then, when she was about to lose consciousness, she remembered a spell that counters Dementors. She weakly muttered, "Expecto Patronum," barely able to lift her wand, but successfully cast it, sending the Dementor away. As she was about to faint, a man rushed to her aid, trying to keep her awake.
"Stay with me," he said urgently, his voice cutting through the haze. "You need to stay awake."
Lyanna struggled to focus, her vision blurred, but she could make out the concerned face of the man. He kept talking, his voice steady and calming, grounding her in reality.
"That's it. Keep your eyes open. You're safe now," he reassured her.
Lyanna, still a bit traumatized, stared into nothing, the echoes of the woman's scream lingering in her mind. After a few moments, she managed to find her voice. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice shaky.
The man smiled gently. "Here, have some chocolate. It'll help." He handed her a piece of chocolate. "Excuse me, I need to have a word with the driver."
Before she could ask his name, he had already turned and left the compartment. Lyanna stared after him for a moment, then looked down at the chocolate in her hand. She took a bite, feeling the warmth spread through her, pushing back the cold and fear.
As she sat there, slowly regaining her composure, she couldn't shake the feeling of vulnerability the Dementor had brought out in her.
