It had been 7 months since me and Marc started dating and everything was perfect, he gets me and i get him, we didn't realise how much we needed each other and I thought dating your best friend would mess up the friend group but little did we know, Tessa and Hector were having their own little thing going on as well, now we were able to have double dates, but we all continued life as best friends, having sleepovers, parties, days out, and family barbecues, but my favourite part was that me and Tessa were able to support our boyfriends together, we attended ever match together and training session, wearing our boyfriends football jerseys, we were wags in training.

Me and Marc were walking down the beach, during the sunset it was beautiful, we walked hand in hand and took in the glorious views, it was a surreal moment to say the least, the sun was setting and the beach was almost empty, the sand was in ever single crevice of my feet, my hair was blowing in the wind, i let my natural waves come out for once, my life was beyond perfect with Marc by my side, he was all i ever needed,
Marc stopped on the beach and turned to me slowly, i raised an eyebrow and turned to face him as well,
he took a note from his pocket and began to read from it,

"Ella i want you to know how much you mean to me, you bring so much light and joy out of me and every moment with you is so precious. Your smile, your kind heart and your unwavering support makes me so grateful to have you by my side, i cherish every memory we have made together and i cant wait to continue making more. You inspire me to be a better person and I will be here to love and support you the way you have to me. Im so lucky to have you as my girlfriend and I thank the universe for bringing us together everyday. I love you ❤️." he says with a sweet smile on his face.

he then proceeds to take a small box out of his pocket and opens the box to reveal a promise ring with a diamond heart in the middle,

"will you take this promise ring?" he asks

"of course i will" i say softly and instantly hug him tightly,

"i love you" i whisper

He kisses me and takes the ring from the box and it fits onto my finger like a glove.
