I don't own Miraculous Ladybug. I want a story in which Marinette just plain don't want to get involved in Lila's drama and persuade her parents to transfer her. Parts are inspired by salt stories I read online or tumblr posts.
Marinette wasn't surprised when her "friends" started to isolate her due to Lila's lies. She may have been friends with them these past years, but she never opens up to them. She had been friends with some of them before Chloe arrives. But they had abandoned her with Chloe's bullying and threats. After the first few times they didn't invite her to a class event, she decides that she had enough. She was out.
Taking advantage of an akuma that Alya causes, when a student from another class points out one of Lila's lies causing the liar to burst into crocodile tears, she went home crying about how scary the akuma was. She cried to her concerned parents about how her class was acting. She was getting scared with how they treated others and how many times they have been akumatized. The teachers weren't doing anything. She wants to transfer, before she gets akumatized too! Her parents agree, especially since she had hinted previously that the reason for her bad grades were because of the constant attacks distracting her.
She persuades them to let her go to an online college, while she looks for a new school. She wants to find one where she could pursue fashion designs. Going to online school in the meantime was good enough for her parents to let her transfer in the middle of the semester. Her improved grades prove to her parents that her bad grades were the cause of the constant akuma attacks that occurred in the school. She also managed to avoid dealing with her former class, by claiming she was busy with her designs and schoolwork. Eventually her parents got the hint that she didn't want to deal with them. What she didn't realize at the time was the reason for her parents' quick acceptance of that was due to the stories and warnings they had heard the other classes tell each other about Bustier's class while shopping at the bakery.
She didn't realize at when she transfers out with her parents pulling strings to make it happen quickly, she was removing the barrier that protects them from the school's disdain for the "akuma class." Lila was elected the new president with Alya as her deputy. Marinette didn't realize that the only reason the other classes were nice to her class was because she was always willing to help them. Without her protection, the other classes no longer feel the need to be nice to the akuma class in return for Marinette's kindness.
The other classes didn't invite them to any events outside of schools. School council meetings considers of the other class presidents planning it within a certain time in which Lila wasn't invited. The official meetings were just them telling Lila what Ms. Bustier's class had to do, always the simplest thing. Lila of course lies and claims she was too busy. This leaves the rest of the class to do it.
Lila pushes the majority of the work on to Alya. Alya wasn't very good at planning field trip or fundraising. Marinette was good at planning fundraisers, especially bake sales. Marinette's parents usually supply the goods at no cost. But after Marinette decide to go to online school, Marinette's parents stop. When Alya stops by for the pastries Sabine made it clear that the bakery wasn't providing them anymore. When Alya throws a big fit and asks if it was because Marinette hates Lila, Sabine told her honestly that Marinette never even mentioned Lila. A few other students decide to get revenge on Marinette's behalf and also for themselves. They have had it with Alya calling them bullies when they point out Lila's lies. They throw insults about her and all the things she and her class had done. Sabine was horrified. How could her daughter's former friends have done this? Was this why Marinette had wanted to transfer so desperately? When Alya tries to claim Marinette had slapped Lila, Sabine have had enough. Her daughter had been in the bakery helping at the time. She got her bread paddle and started to shoo Alya out of the bakery to the cheers of the other students. When Alya asked (demanded) who did she think she was, Sabine screams "I AM SABINE DUPAIN-CHENG THE MOTHER OF THE GIRL WHO YOU CLAIMED WAS BULLYING A LIAR WHEN SHE WAS WORKING AT THE BAKERY AT THE TIME! YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE BANNED FROM THIS BAKERY!" That night, Sabine hugs Marinette and asks about what happens before she transfers. Marinette told her about Lila's threat and the isolation. Sabine was furious. Afterwards she insists on getting Marinette a new phone number. This cuts Marinette even further from her former class.
