RAINY DAY

chapter 2

The journey towards his home was really silent. Tae has so many questions in his mind but he don't want to rush anything, because it can make other feels so pressured. He don't want to harm jungkook in anyway, the other looks so fragile already.

It took almost twenty minutes for him to reach home. After parking the car he guide jungkook towards his home.

Jungkook looks like a bit calm now, still he didn't spoke anything. So tae made him sit on the couch and gave jungkook his freash shirt and showed him gust room to change.

Meantime tae decided to make some coffee and noodles for both, it's not like he can't cook any other things, It's just too late for a proper meal. It's already one in the morning.

Jungkook came back from room and sat on the couch while looking tae without blinking.

It's a little strange, it's the nth time tae catching little jungkookie staring on him, with a chuckle he shooked his head. He don't want to mention it and make the other awkward.

Tae walked back to him and gave him a plate noodle and place coffee mug on table then sat on the other side of couch.

"Eat jungkookie you must be hungry" Tae said and looked at jungkook who practically drowning on his black shirt, it reached till his thighs cute!

Again both of them fell into silence but it didn't last long as tae asked him "what are doing on the bridge?"

"I- i ran away from home" Jungkook replied while looking down.

"Why? What happened?" Tae asked softly to make him comfortable.

"My dad used to beat me always but this time i can't handle it, it's too much" Jungkook raised his head and looked at tae with a vulnerable eyes.

That's when tae noticed the bruises on his cheeks and little cuts on lips. Jungkook innocently lifted his shirt a little bit, on his thighs a purple bruises looks like his dad beated him with belts or something.

Right now jungkooks eyes looks like he's complaining to tae about his dad. That look on jungkook's eyes tae can't forgot it, his whole being screaming him to protect the poor soul but why? Why he's feeling like he have some unknown connection with jungkook. Why he want to hug him and protect him.

"I don't have any frist aid box here, we can visit hospital tomorrow jungkookie" He said while patting his shoulder in a reassuring manner. But this time jungkook didn't flinch over his touch and just nodded while looking into his eyes.

Why jungkookie aways looks his eyes like this, if it is any other situation he must be blushing right now. Tae shook his head to get out from his thought and again focused to jungkook.

"Why is there any reason behind his behavior" Tae asked again.

"H-e used to be a lovely person till I was twelve, he always supported me helped me from my bullies and stood by my side everytime, b-ut after my mom's death he was so distant I don't know why. Then I told him that I was a-   i was a gay, after that he used to beat me, he'll beat me until I faint,he always call me by bad names" By now jungkook start to shake suddenly tae moved forward and took his hand and slowly squeezed in a reassuring manner, His hand is so small and cold.

"But then things have gotten out of hand, when he saw the picture of my high school crush, he beat me with belt and said I'm just a disappointment for him, the bullies from my schools, they also beat me everyday" A lone tear fell from his eyes he suddenly brush it of with his fist, the same hand still clutching the chain.

"What about your crush?" Tae couldn't help but ask.

"He's gone after graduating" He said with a painful smile. "I always likes to walk as an invisible man, I don't like to be acknowledged but one day he saved me from bullies and then helped me with a smile" Jungkook's eyes suddenly sparkled.

"You know what? He's the only one who gave me a genuine smile after my mom's death, others will smile at me but always a mocking one" He sniffed.

"You know what's funny" He looked at tae, who shooked his head as response "I'm pretty sure he don't even remember me now as I'm a big coward to stand in front of him, I used to look at him from hidden places and then I'll ran away from there" Jungkook fell back to couch and looked at the ceiling with a smile.

"Ok ok little lover boy, it's time to sleep now we can talk tomorrow and if you want I'll help you to find your crush" Tae said while patting his boba head.

Jungkook just smiled at tae and went to gust room for sleep. Tae was about to walk towards his room suddenly jungkook peaked from his room and called him.

"Hey"

Tae turned back and saw a big shining doe eye's looking at him, while the bunny teeth peaking through rosy lips, the little one was unknowingly bouncing on his toe's. Tae smiled and looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Thank you" Little one bite his lips while saying this.

"You're welcome sir, now sleep we'll talk tomorrow ok" He said as if he's talking to a baby. The other nodded his head and ran back to room, tae smile at that cute behavior.
