"Par tum jaise apni zimmedaariyon se bhag rahe ho na, vo ekdum galat hai! Hum aur yeh bacha zimmedaari hai tumhari. Aur tum humein dono ko chhod ke kahi nahi jaa sakte!"

Karishma said all of this in a single breath with a dismayed tone, as enough drama had been repeated in the past over and over again.

And like always, they both were standing at the same point-that yes, she did wrong, she betrayed him, cheated on him.

But now she wants him to understand that she is a changed woman, who is embarrassed, ashamed, and dismayed by this whole situation.

It took a while for Karishma to gather the courage to look back at Aly's face, but today she was determined to end this matter and return to her old life, filled with her husband Aly's love, sweet talks, gestures, and admiration for her.

Here, Aly was caught off guard by his emotions. He struggled to believe his wife's words, feeling a sense of disbelief and doubt. His face was tense, which could be easily seen in his furrowed brow as he struggled to respond to her statement.

"Hum sach mai pregnant hain, Aly, aur yehi batane hum uss din Hyderabad aaye the, par tumne toh humse milne se inkar kar diya." Saying this, she looked down at the floor in a dejected manner.

"Aur sach kahe toh uss din se hume yehi lagta aaya hai, ki agar yeh baat tumhe bata bhi di toh tum kabhi hum par vishwas nahi karoge!" she said in an emotional tone.

"Jo ko hume abhi sach-"

But her words were interrupted by a heavy voice. "Yeh bacha mera hai!" Aly said it with a single ego, a lump of tears hanging in his eyes.

A sigh of relief escaped Karishma's mouth as she happily grabbed Aly by both his arms and hugged him.

"Dhanyawad, Aly, dhanywaad...hum pe bharosa karne ke liye!" But her happiness and this conversation was very short-lived.

Someone knocked on the door, and a bold voice shouted, "Aly, are you ready?"
Hearing this, Aly wiped all the tears from his eyes and replied- Yes, Syed sir, just give me 5 minutes. I'll meet you in the lounge."

Mr. Syed denied, "Nahi Aly, hume function se phele minister ji se milna hoga. You know this is important. I am coming inside."

As soon as these words reached him, Aly panicked. "Sir, I am coming," he said quickly, grabbing his clothes from the table and whispering, "Face the wall..."

But he said this in such a low voice that Karishma couldn't understand anything.
"Kaa?" she asked in a questioning tone.
"Kya kaa! Hume kapde pehne hain, mudho!" Aly gritted his teeth.

"Ama, kya pagal wali baatein kar rahe ho, aisa kya hai tumhare paas jo humse chhupa hai!" Karishma said in a teasing tone, to which Aly furiously grimaced.

For once Karishma chuckled at her silly statement and turned to face the wall. By this time, Mr. Syed had unlocked the door, and Aly put on his clothes at lightning speed.

The voice mumbled, "Aly, kidhar ho tum?"
Aly shouted, "Bas sir, aage," as he buttoned his shirt.

Here, Karishma was internally laughing, seeing Aly so afraid of someone else. She sarcastically mumbled,
"Abhi hume apna bhaukal dikha raha tha... ab khud ki akal thikane aagi hogi. Itna instant karma toh kabhi nahi dekha. Bhagwan, thank you," she thought and gave an imaginary flying kiss to bhagwan!

"Hogya," a weak voice said, and Karishma turned around just to find that Aly was all ready but in a chaotic manner. His buttons were misaligned, his collar was standing up in a rowdy fashion, and his face was sweaty and scared, which easily showed how furiously he had gotten ready within a minute.
