Chapter II: "You just want to take a faster ride."

Artemis assured them that dawn was coming, but you could've fooled Percy. It was colder and darker and snowier than ever. Up on the hill, Westover Hall's windows were completely lightless.

He wondered if the teachers had even noticed the di Angelos and Dr. Thorn were missing yet. He didn't want to be around when they did. With his luck, the only name Mrs. Gottschalk would remember was "Percy Jackson," and then he'd be the subject of a nationwide manhunt… again.

On the other hand Nara was quite nervous aswell while breaking the camp, but for different reasons. The idea of seeing her father and siblings again made her stomach to do some flick backs. She hadn’t seen them ever since she joined the haunters six years ago.

She would be lying if she said she hadn’t miss them, or her life before at camp, but due to her prophecy she knew she was safer with the oath she made to Artemis, even though her father tried to stop her from doing it, whom since then she had met him quite a few times in her dreams, but not in person.

When she and the Hunters finished breaking she went next to Artemis and the camperas and stood there in the snow. Artemis stared into the east like she was expecting something.

She saw Bianca sat off to one side, talking with Nico. She could tell from his gloomy face that she was explaining her decision to join the Hunt. Nara couldn’t blame her, she was young and she understood why she didn’t wanted to be responsible of looking out for her little brother, but at the same time Bianca was the only person Nico had and the world was dangerous for a little untrained demigod, she couldn’t leave him to his own devices.

Seeing the expression on the little boys face made her heart die a little, and in that moment she promised that if she could take care of him and protect him, then she would do it.

She walk next to Thalia, Grover and Percy. He was telling them what had happened at his talk with the goddess.
Grover turned pale. "The last time the Hunters visited camp, it didn't go well."
"How'd they even show up here?" Percy wondered. "I mean, they just appeared out of nowhere."

"And Bianca joined them," Thalia said, disgusted. "It's all Zoe's fault. That stuck-up, no good—"

"Who can blame her?" Grover said.

"Eternity with Artemis?" He heaved a big sigh.

Thalia rolled her eyes. "You satyrs. You're all in love with Artemis. Don't you get that she'll never love you back?"

"But she's so… into nature," Grover swooned.

"You're nuts," said Thalia.

"Nuts and berries," Grover said dreamily. "Yeah."

Then Thalia turned to her.

“And what about you?” She asked “Last time a saw you you were at camp” she said with a sour tone.

“And last time I check you were a tree” she told her in the same tone. Nara knew she had some bickering with Zoe, but that didn’t mean she had to be so spiteful with her, besides she couldn’t stand when people was mean without any reason “You two are not the only one who have a prophecy about them. I did what was best for me.”

Percy was going to ask what she meant but the sky began to lighten and Artemis muttered, "About time. He's so-o-o lazy during the winter."

"You're, um, waiting for sunrise?" He asked.

“Umm, yeah, duh!” Nara exclaimed.

"For my brother. Yes."

Percy looked even more confused than he did before.
