The roar of the crowd was deafening, a symphony of screams and cheers that vibrated through Yeong's entire body. He was backstage, his heart hammering against his ribs, his palms slick with sweat. This was it. His first concert as a backup dancer for BTS.
He peeked through the curtain, catching a glimpse of the stage bathed in a kaleidoscope of lights. The energy radiating from the thousands of ARMYs was palpable, a shared excitement and love that sent shivers down his spine.
'You got this, Yeong,' his brother, Seong, said, placing a hand on his shoulder. Seong, a few years older, stood tall, his eyes shining with pride. 'I'm so excited to see you dance with BTS, on that stage.'
Yeong swallowed, his throat suddenly dry. 'Me too, hyung,' he managed, his voice barely a whisper. 'I don't know... I'm always nervous.'
Seong chuckled, squeezing Yeong's shoulder. 'Why? ARMY loves you, you know that. They love your spirit, your passion. You bring it every single time, Yeong. You're a part of the magic.'
Yeong's heart warmed at his brother's words. He'd been dancing since childhood, his passion igniting with every step. He'd worked tirelessly, pushing his body and mind to the limit, all for this moment. To be a part of something bigger than himself, to share the stage with idols he'd admired since he know them.
'We're here in the concert, go kill it, alright?' Seong grinned, giving him a playful nudge.
Yeong nodded, a surge of determination coursing through him. He wouldn't let his nerves get the better of him. He'd channel his fear into power, into every movement. He was a part of the show, a part of the magic. He was ready.
The music started, the familiar melody of their latest song filling the room. Yeong took a deep breath, the nervous tremor in his hands fading as he moved into position. He felt the music coursing through his veins, his body responding instinctively, his movements fluid and precise. He was no longer just Yeong, the nervous dancer. He was a part of the show, a part of the energy, a part of the magic.
The lights hit him, blindingly bright, but his focus remained on the rhythm, on the choreography, on the music. He moved with the other dancers, their bodies forming a symphony of movement, complementing the idols' performance, fueling the energy of the concert.
He saw Seong in the audience, his face lit with pride, his fist raised in the air. In that moment, Yeong knew he was exactly where he belonged. He was a dancer, a part of a dream, and he was ready to shine.
In the vibrant glow of the stage after their first electrifying concert, BTS's backup dancer, Jeong, felt an overwhelming sense of exhilaration. His heart pounded with a mix of pride and relief as he made his way backstage.
As he approached his dressing room, he heard a familiar voice calling his name. 'Yeong!'
He turned to see his elder brother, Seong, standing there with a beaming smile. 'I saw the whole show, Yeong,' he said, enveloping his brother in a tight embrace. 'It was incredible. You and BTS were like stars on that stage.'
✨✨✨✨✨
Yeong couldn't help but grin at his brother's enthusiasm. 'Thanks, Seong,' he replied. 'I'm glad you enjoyed it.''I can't believe you're dancing with BTS,' Seong continued excitedly. 'That's a dream come true.'
'It's still surreal sometimes,' Yeong admitted. 'But I'm so grateful for the opportunity.'
'I bet,' Seong said. 'So, can we meet the members? I've been dying to see them ever since you joined the company.'
Yeong chuckled. 'Of course, Seong. Let's go say hello.'
Together, they made their way to BTS's dressing room. As they knocked on the door, their hearts raced with anticipation.
The door swung open, revealing the seven members of BTS standing in a circle, talking and laughing. Their eyes widened as they noticed Yeong and Seong standing in the doorway.
'Yeong!' Jungkook exclaimed, breaking away from the group. He rushed forward and gave Yeong a friendly hug. 'That was an amazing show. You were incredible.'
'Thank you, Jungkook,' Yeong said, blushing slightly.
One by one, the other members approached Yeong and Seong, shaking their hands and introducing themselves. They were all warm and welcoming, just as Yeong had always heard.
As Seong chatted with the members, Yeong couldn't help but marvel at how close they seemed. They were not only bandmates but also close friends who supported and encouraged each other.
After spending some time with BTS, Seong and Yeong bid the members farewell and headed home. As they walked, Seong couldn't stop gushing about how incredible the experience had been.
'I can't believe I met BTS,' he said. 'They're even more handsome and talented than I imagined.'
'I know,' Yeong agreed. 'I'm so lucky to be working with them.'
As they made their way home, Yeong couldn't shake the feeling that he had not only fulfilled a dream that night but had also gained a newfound family in BTS.
