felix huffed as he finally buttoned his jeans after struggling for a good ten minutes, almost giving up when it finally budged.

"i'm going to need to go maternity shopping soon," the blue haired boy sighed to hyunjin when the taller boy walked into their room, getting dressed to go their doctors appointment.

"we'll go whenever you want, angel," hyunjin hummed as he hugged felix from behind, large hands going around him to rest on the swell of his belly, completely covering it.

"as soon as possible because this baby is growing too fast that my clothes are starting to not fit," felix pressed his back against hyunjin's chest, smiling fondly at their reflection in the mirror.

felix took phone from his pocket and snapped a quick picture, loving the way hyunjin's big hands engulfed the small swell.

"hello!" doctor park greeted the two awaiting boys, smiling with felix's chart in hand, "how are you feeling, felix? any nausea? pain?"

"thankfully no nausea or vomiting, the new prescription helped out so much," felix lightly chuckled, "although i'm starting to feel a bit of strain on my lower back but i'm just guessing it's due to the baby growing?"

"that's so good to hear, i'm so glad they worked," she beamed at him, "and as far as back pain, many people start experiencing back pain going into the second trimester due to baby's development, some even experiencing pelvic pain, both completely normal unless it's unbearable then come to see a doctor."

both boys nodded, soaking in all of the information from the doctor.

"would you like to see your baby now?"

the two eagerly nodded as hyunjin helped felix lay back on the exam table. the smaller boy lifted up his sweater as they waited for the gel to be applied.

doctor park pressed the transducer onto his belly, moving it around to find the small baby, turning the screen to the parents once she got the small figure in view, "got you, little one."

felix bit his lip as looked at her with concern in his eyes, "there's only one right?"

"yes, just one baby! why?" doctor park let out a small chuckle as she faced felix.

"well, um, does the baby seem big to you? i feel like i'm starting to show a lot." felix looked up at hyunjin when he felt the taller boy grab his hand.

"it may seem that way because of your smaller figure. don't worry, baby is developing at an outstanding rate, looks very strong and healthy."

"our baby could be taking after my height," hyunjin proudly sat up, puffing out his chest a bit as felix playfully swatted his hand at him, laughing.

"seems like baby is in the perfect position to find out gender. is that something you two were wanting to do in this appointment?" doctor park beamed at them, getting an enthusiastic head nod from the two.

"congratulations, you're having a healthy baby boy!"

"so?!" jisung and jeongin excitedly shouted at the same time as soon as the expecting couple walked into the living room of their shared dorm.

"what are you having?!"

hyunjin and felix smiled at each other widely with sparkling eyes, felix reaching into his bag to pull out the sonogram from moments ago.

the taller boy squeezed his hand as they announced together, "it's a boy!"

everyone jumped from their seats, cheering as they ran over to the expecting parents, jumping up and down as they surrounded them in a group hug.

felix made eye contact with hyunjin, both smiling so wide that their cheeks were starting to ache as they basked in the love from their members.

"i love you," the taller boy mouthed to him, just before an arm wrapped around his shoulders, pulling him in a tight hug, one like felix but his was more gentle.

things were finally looking up for the smaller boy.
