I walked out of the ware house and made a sprint for the park.
I squealed and cried of happiness when I saw him. Dusty black messed up hair, gray eyes, tall, and short of lanky. He wore black checkered shoes, dusty grey pants, and a light blue shirt. I looked much too over dressed for the occasion, but hey I'm always over dressed. I ran up to him and gave him a hug knocking him onto the ground.
"Hey Ann Marie," he said helping me up.
"Hi hi," I smiled twirling.
He laughed and smiled,"You haven't changed one bit."
"Nor have you," I smiled.
We played on the swing set, ate at a near by cafe, and hung out in a flower field a little outside of town.
"I wondered," he said closing his eyes,"if you hated me."
"Why would I hate you?" I asked sitting up.
"We'd hang out all the time, but one day you disappeared. You became a mystery, a figment of my imagination. I saw you walking around town, but I thought I was crazy," he whispered."But then you came up to me and asked me to hang out and thought I was crazy, but I came anyway. Now we're here."
I giggled and looked at him,"I will admit I became a mystery, but I'm more real than that cake I ate earlier."
He laughed and got up,"We better get going, wouldn't want to make Roman mad at us."
He helped me up and walked me half way to the the warehouse, I waved good bye to him as I saw him run into his house.
I sat on a bench that sat underneath a light post as the cool night air blew my hair slightly. I felt someone pick me up and saw it was someone apart of the white fang. He sat me in the back of the car as he drove us back to the warehouse.
He carried me inside and set me on a box of dust. When I woke up I was upstairs still in the clothes I was in yesterday, laying in my bed.
I walked downstairs and nobody was downstairs. When I walked into the main room everything was gone.
'Is this a dream or reality?!' I thought to myself.
I screamed but nothing came out, I cried but nothing came out, I shouted but nothing came out, except a weak sad whimper.
"This can't be reality!" I yelled slapping myself.
I woke up for real this time, breathing heavily, and sweating like crazy. I ran downstairs to see Emerald and Alexa cooking, Cinder reading the news, Bonnie and Mercury talking as they ate, Gracie as she poured milk, and roman as he read the comics. I hugged Roman and cried pathetically into his shoulder.
"Thank you," I cried.
