"No more!" Kei wheezed, "I can't do this anymore!!"

"We barely started, dunce-face." Aoi continued jogging.

The team started by doing runs to get their energy pumping.

"Come on Kei-chan! Just a bit more!" Y/n jogged in place, waiting for the complaining boy to catch up to her. She grasped his hand and offered a smile, "Let's run together!"

'An angel hath descended.'

"YEAH!" With newfound energy, the two skipped around the field, hand in hand.

"You're supposed to be running!" Aoi scolded the frolicking duo, sprinting to catch up and dropkicking the ex-commander.

"I'm exhausted." Kei plopped himself on a bench and shifted into a lying position with a bag of chips in one hand and his phone in the other.

"Kei, catch my pitches."

"No way! I don't wanna. Your pitches are too scary Haru-chan."

"Shut up and catch my pitches, doo doo head."

"YOU'RE THE DOO DOO HEAD!!"

Aoi grabbed the catcher's equipment and some rope, "Kiyomine, L/n, hold down that idiot."

The two geniuses slowly crept up on the bench as if they were catching a small rabbit.

The prey perked up and backed up onto the bench, panicking while typing something desperately into his phone.

"Hm?" Taro felt a vibration and reached into his pocket for his phone, finding a notification informing him that ⭐️KEICHAN⭐️ posted a new tweet that read "Imma gonna die".

Some struggles later

"ACK! STOP! YAMA-CHAN SAVE ME!!" The blond pleaded. "I'M REALLY GOING TO DIE! MY ARMS ARE BEING SHATTERED!!!" Kei kneeled in the catcher's box tied down, trying to fend off the relentless pitches Haruka kept feeding him.

"Fine, just don't run from practice." Taro untied the battered boy, who in turn was ready to escape.

"Thank you very much for today. Imma head home." The catcher removed his equipment.

"Kei, my brother just got a new one."

"That's not going to change my mind."

"He said it's the most lewd one yet."

Kei was back in position with equipment on. "Bring it on!"

After a couple of catches, Kei slumped over. "Man, this is really hard, okay?! My body feels really tired."

"You may be an idiot, but you're our only catcher. Build some stamina, would ya? Do more runs!" Aoi shouted across the field.

On the other side of the field, Aoi, Y/n, and Shunpei practiced their tosses to each other while Taro batted towards them.

'For not playing baseball in a while, those three are in sync.' Taro hit another ball outfield.

Whooosh......PAFF!

As if her glove was a ball magnet, Y/n caught the ball with ease and shot it over to Aoi who then threw it to Shunpei.

'She caught the ball again.'

"L/n, how exactly do you do that?" Shunpei wiped the sweat off his forehead.

"Do what?"

"How are you able to tell where the ball is going to land?"

"Ah, it's just a hunch."

"A HUNCH?!" Aoi gaped.

"I'm kidding, sort of." The outfielder scratched her cheek. "I had to dig through my brain to remember Yama-chan's playstyle. It takes a lot of studying and observation y'know?"
