*dead silence.*
Glenn was the center of attention in the class. The aforementioned student has a pale complexion. The moment Teacher Cale walked into the classroom, his voice thundered.
They all knew that if Cale thought you were useless, he did not need you in his class.
He is the type of teacher who will do anything for the sake of his students, but—
"What happened?"
—isn't this too much?
Glenn walked out of the room without asking why. He was very aware of the reason.
However, Bud responded as well.
"Hey, teacher. Is not this too much?" Bud asked, taking Glenn's side. "If he leaves, then I will do—"
However, Radish had already kicked the chair, which added to everyone's confusion. Radish never interfered with anyone, much less let anyone interfere with his life.
"You are the one who is too much," Radish remarks, snarking and laughing.
Bud stayed quiet.
"Right," Vicross agreed. "You are the reason he needs to leave the room."
Bud was taken aback and responded with "What?"
Following that, everyone in the classroom went silent. They did not understand what was going on, so they chose to remain silent. The used-to-nagging girls remained silent.
First and foremost, because Vicross seldom speaks.
He only speaks when it is absolutely necessary, making him the Class Daddy.
"Sit down," Teacher Cale instructed. He began the class without responding to Bud at all. Bud chose to leave, but Cale eventually turned to him, breaking the chalk with force.
"Leave the classroom; Glenn will receive detention."
Bud could not stop himself from exclaiming, "WHAT?"
"Is not this what your friendship is all about?"
Bud remained quiet.
"Glenn will eventually talk to the teachers—to me—to take responsibility for your answers; he will be detained and suspended even more."
Bud attempted to refute, but Cale slammed his hand on the table and looked at Bud, who was currently ruining all of his hard work.
"Is your head refusing to accept anything, or are you just an idiot?"
Cale's piercing voice made everyone recoil. This is the first time. This is the first time they have seen Cale get angry.
"I will tell you, Bud. Glenn will repeat another year, but you will not." Cale said dangerously, "That will be the result of everything; so leave now, and that future is set in stone because you became the reason Glenn has to suffer all this."
Bud remained standing the entire time, while Cale continued his class. Cale did not call for him or pay him any attention. He made no effort to explain or demonstrate anything.
But he understood that if he left the room, Glenn would be in serious trouble.
The chimes rang, and Bud stood there motionless, thoughts ringing dangerously in his head.
"Bu—"
"Do not mind him," Cale said. "Do not do anything with Bud right now if you want to graduate."
Everyone was silent.
"Teach! This is—"
"Alver Crossman, do you want detention?"
Everyone was taken aback by Cale's martial law instruction right now. This is not Teacher Cale, at all.
"If one of us does not graduate, you will be the principal," Adin stated as a fact. Cale taught them because he wanted to see them graduate.
However, he is purposefully doing the exact opposite of what he has been doing thus far.
"Then so be it," Cale snarks and smirks, completely mocking all of his students right now, "it is better to suffer that useless piece of crap than let you all, disappointing students, graduate."
Cale's harsh words echoed through everyone's minds.
"Did you think I was playing classroom with you?"
Cale's words were filled with rage and coldness right now.
"Do you think I will be proud to let undeserving students graduate?"
Even Tunka remained silent.
"I will tell you now. You are all the shame of my career as an educator. I thought I was communicating with you all, but I was wrong." Cale spoke, "Enough is enough. See you all again next school year, if that is the case." Cale left the classroom quietly. Just two students and all of their classmates were taking their side, but Cale harshly told them all that.
They don't understand anything, but...
"We should look at the other side of the coin," Clopeh said in a normal tone that stunned everyone. He is doing something that a class president would do. He looked at Vicross and Radish, both of whom appeared to know something.
"We spent the night last Saturday in jail." Vicross begins.
"Ugh, can not you phrase that correctly?" Radish complained.
"Forget about it." Vicross said, "Bud and Glenn were caught by the cops because of a curfew violation, and Radish was also there, so... Teacher Cale thought there was something wrong with Bud and Glenn."
"I agree that there's something wrong with Bud, but Glenn?" Adin said. Even the master schemer didn't have to lay his hands on them since they're falling magnificently together in hell with them. "Don't tell me Teacher Cale saw that already?"
"Apparently yes," Radish replied.
"Was it the student records back home?" Raon asked.
Radish and Vicross both sigh with a, "yes."
"What is wrong with that?" Rosalyn questioned.
"Everything is wrong," Radish said. "Why does a good student like Glenn have so many school violations and even suspension while the real troublemaker has a very clean record?"
"...*Dead silence*"
Whitara could not believe what she was hearing. She immediately understood what that meant: "I know Glenn is always on Bud's side, but to accept responsibility for his mistakes?"
Bud was silent. He could not comprehend what Whitara had just said.
"What did Glenn do?
"Now I understand why Teacher Cale is so angry," Alver said.
Lark nodded as well and looked at Bud, "Bud, do not you think you need to talk to Glenn?"
"Right. We know you want to attend a prestigious university, and you can because your grades are good, but Glenn."
Glenn is a normal guy with exceptional hands and eyesight.
He can study and do anything, but he is not like Bud.
