Kaylyn's Pov
Last night was so fun, we staid up till 3 lighting fireworks, I wasn't think about Shawn either...
'Luna we have a breach in the Southeastern border' one of Claytons men, Chris, informed me
'Ill be there as soon as possible, along with Beta Taylor' I said
"Taylor lets go!" I called up the stairs, it was currently 2 in the afternoon, Blue was napping. Taylor rushed down the stairs and we made our way outside, Taylor shifted I hopped onto his back and he sped towards the breached border.
"Luna, Beta Taylor" Chris said as Taylor shifted back, I nodded at him, before my gaze was locked on him, he was back after missing for 3 days.
Only now he was glaring at me, hatred swirled in his beautiful chocolate orbs.
"Shawn?" My voice broke as I stared him, and just like that he had me pinned against a tree, strangling me. I clawed at his hands in desperation for him to release me.
"Let go!" Taylor growled as he also grabed for Shawn's hands.
"Move!" Chris shouted before he wopped Shawn over the head with a rock.
I gasped for air as I could finally breath again. I took deep breaths desperate for the air to fill my lungs and stay there.
"Are you okay?" Taylor asked, I glared at him.
"DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M OKAY? HUH? THE LOVE OF MY LIFE JUST TRIED TO KILL ME!" I screamed at Taylor before I collapsed in his arms, sobbing.
"I knew it" I cried
"Knew what?" Taylor asked softly
"His human side doesn't want me, it's Arctic that wants me." I sobbed Taylor didn't say anything he just rested his head on mine.
"Let's get you away from him." Taylor said.
"H-He's gonna be alright, right?" I asked fiddling with my fingers.
"Yes, he should healed before he even wakes up." Taylor said before dragging me back to the pack house.
"Where's Blue?" I shriek, not finding her in the crib. A random pack member walks in holding her. I gave the woman my best death glare.
"Ever, pull this stunt again, and I will rip to shreds with my bare hands." I growled at the woman. She cowards down as I glare at her, I piont to the door and she scurried out.
"We're going to visit an old friend." I told Blue as I packed a bag for both me and her. I decided to leave all my makeup here, I wouldn't have the energy to put it all on, just to be cried off and leave ugly streaks running down my face.
"Taylor you in charge of the pack for a couple of days, I'm going to visit an old friend...." I said, did I mention this friend lived in Canada? No? Oops.
"Kaylyn, just because Shawn-"
"Tried to kill me? I take that as my que to leave." I said, if he only knew half the pain.
