Pip spent that night breaking down the people that revolved around the case, along with time stamps of where the missing girl,Andie Bell was seen before her disappearance five years ago.
Before setting off in the early hours of the evening with freshly baked bribery muffins, and her dog Barney.
The dog leading her down the street while she tucked the box beneath her left arm.
Pippa and Barney reached the bus stop, waiting on the bus that was a few minutes behind schedule.
Pippa glanced at her watch every few minutes, waiting for Alex's bus to arrive so she could follow him to his destination which was most likely the house of Ravi Singh. The second her eyes left the watch,a white bus was stopping before of her.
Her eyes shifted upwards as she watched Alex exit the bus,his head glued ahead of him, not remotely acknowledging the girl who had her eyes pinned on him and his every movement before she started to follow after him.
Alex had glanced back three times already,to see the same brown haired girl following behind him.
He left it a few minutes before walking down a shortcut of fences that were blocking people's gardens,in which she still followed along with her dog.
The boy glanced back twice, their eyes locking both times. On the third time he finally spoke.
"Hi."he said,as he began to walk with his head turned in her direction.
"Are you alright?"he asked as both of them stopped in sync, her face strangely familiar yet he couldn't exactly pin point who he was talking to."..yeah,no..just taking a walk..."She said, taking long pauses after a few words before she noticed his eyes travelled down to the box in her arms.
"Hah..with muffins."she smiled, motioning her head down at the box before staring back up at him.
"Hah..okay."he said returning the same smile she gave him as he moved to the side, giving her a space to walk ahead of him as confirmation she wasn't being a total stalker.
He turned around she attempted to catch up to where he had reached. "If you're following me,just say that."He suggested as she kept her head straight but her eyes glancing between the road ahead of them.
"How do you know I'm not just going this way?!"she asked in a defensive tone.
Then he stopped walking to face her "You're that girl from the store that ran off and left me stranded with the blame."He said as she went to talk.
"You're also the one that did that assembly dressed as Florence Nightingale.Pippa!"he added on while clicking his fingers,as she groaned staring down at her dog.
"Uhg,Emmeline Pankhurst, but yes, that was me..both of those things were committed me."
"Oh,so Ravi was right...Florence Nightingale didn't chain herself to the gym apparatus."He uttered as if he was talking to himself.
"Yeah,"she hummed awkwardly "that didn't quite go as planned."She informed him as he started to chuckle at the sheepish smile plastered to her face.
"It took them two and a half hours to cut me free."she informed him, causing his chuckle to turn into a laugh before he signalled for her to walk along with him.
"Who's this handsome fella?"
"His names Barney."Pip informed him as the dog began to drag her ahead.

"Vanilla essence?"He asked as he sneakily slipped the muffin out of his mouth, dropping it on the road they were walking on.
"Yes."she replied in a sort of laughing tone as she turned her head to gaze up at him.
"Mmm,was the vanilla out of date?"he asked, before she could reply or ask anything he spoke once more."It taste like cheese."He replied as she sent him an ambivalent look before hitting his hand.
"Nutmeg?"he asked in an apologetic voice."Ah,you're good."she scolded as he smirked in her direction.
"Okay, did I use fresh or frozen blueberry's?""Pip,I'm allergic."He remarked,an acerbic tone lingering in his sentence as panic set into her expressions.
"I'm just joking."he laughed before answering her question "both?"he questioned as she dropped the anxiety and anger filled look and huffed.
"Muffin genius."she remarked as he shrugged.
"Thank you. So,pedestrian muffin girl..this is where I'm heading." He said as he watched Ravi standing on the front porch."I'm Pip."She said greeting Ravi who was approving the two.
"I've actually been wanting to talk to come by and talk to Ravi about my EPQ,and so these are kind of..bribery muffins."She said with a smile,as Ravi was already half way through downing one.
"Your what?"Ravi asked shaking his head in slight confusion.
"Yeah,I don't know if when you were at school,if you did an EPQ.Anyway,we do,which everyone's really annoyed about apart from me."She said crossing her arms across her stomach as she slightly chuckled to herself.
"It's an Extended Project Qualification I need to do for my university application."She informed the now two interested but confused boys.
"I was going to do a feminist analysis of the Gothic novel, but then u thought, "What's something that really matters?'"she rhetorically asked.
"You know what really matters? You getting to the point of your story."Alex informed her as she focused on getting onto the right track.
"Which is when I thought of the Andie Bell case and..your brother."She said as immediately you could notice the shift in Ravi's demeanour.
"So,yeah,I guess that's what I'm doing, and I was wondering if I could ask you some quest-..."
"Pip,I think you should go."Alex remarked with a sort of shaken up voice, chucking the box into her arms before pacing off towards the door of Ravi's house.Ravi followed behind him "My brothers dead."Ravi called at her as if it was new news, "go ask someone who's brother is alive, maybe Alex I'm sure he can help."Ravi spat in an Acerbic tone of rage.
