Chapter 4
_______
Aaron and I planned to meet up in the morning outside my house to see if we could find any grey coat. I was pleased that he could help me, I wouldn't want to do this on my own. We have a dark wood to the side of our house, which, to be honest, is quite scary! I was waiting outside my house, when finally he arrived.
'You look that side, I'll look that side, and we'll look in the wood together,' he said pointing.
'Yes sir,' I took the mick out of him.
After about an hour of finding nothing, I suggesting looking in the wood.
'OK let's go, there's nothing round here,' Aaron replied.
We linked arms and carefully trampled over the squishy ground, trying to be quiet. Then I heard a twig snap. I gasped 'what was that?'
'just me,' Aaron laughed. I sighed a sigh of relief.
But then I heard another twig snap. I tensed, because this time, it wasn't me or Aaron. I felt him tense, like me, at the noise. We looked at each other, his face was worried, much like mine. Then we started running.
*AARON POV*
I heard a twig snap. I tensed, because this time, it wasn't me or Rosa. I felt her tense, like me, at the noise. We looked at each other, her face was scared and frightened. Then we started running. I shouted to her, 'don't let go of me! Stay together, or we could get split up and lost!' I heard a muffled 'OK!' I was running strongly, jumping over logs and twigs. Rosa seemed to tire. I slowed down and picked her up bridle style. She smiled a thank you to me as I carried on running. Soon the wood got even darker than before, so I stopped and turned around. Rosa looked up and asked if I was OK.
'Yes I'm fine, I'm listening to see if anything there,' I put her down and looked into her eyes. 'We are going to find your parents, no matter what.' Her eyes shone the nutty brown colour that they were. She was so beautiful.
* ROSA POV*
'We are going to find your parents, no matter what.' The words rung in my head. I looked up at him, and there, just above his head was something flapping in the wind. I pointed to it, and he followed my gaze. He tugged it off the tree, and there was a very dirty scrap of materiel. It was so dirty that we could barely see the colour. We would have to wash it. Whilst we were looking at this scrap, I felt a tap tap on my shoulder. I screamed and turned around.
