Author's note: here's small oneshot because I honestly love rainy days so much, and yes this will show my overexcited brain when it comes to rainy days. This is a small piece that I wanted to keep separate from the lore because our babies deserve some happiness istg T-T

With the weather being awfully unusual today, there was no doubt that there would soon be a rainy storm coming up.

The students, like the youthful things they are, had already placed their bets on the weather, Yuji acting like a weather forecaster as he predicted the storm with his pea-sized brain (sorry yuji ily tho), Megumi completely pissed off by their stupid antics, Nobara joining Yuji, and Akari just snickering at the scene in front of her.

"Winner gets 2000 yen from everyone!", Nobara cheers excitedly, she just needed the money for her shopping spree. Megumi was in denial, Akari just shrugged with it, and Yuji seemed overly excited, to win, of course.

Such banter was normal now in their days at Jujutsu High. Plus, it would be ten times more fun when it has their beloved teachers involved. Speaking of teachers, there they are now.

"Is that a bet, I hear?", the blindfolded man peaks through the sliding doors of the porch outside the Jujutsu building, where the four kids are eagerly starting up at the sky, it was like they haven't seen rain in ages. They are kids, of course.

"A bet that I'm going to win!", Yuji chirps proud fully. "There's no bet you ever win, Itadori.", Megumi says nonchalantly which makes Yuji whine.

"Well, well, I'd be happy to join! Thank you!", Satoru immediately grabbed out his wallet, making Nobara yell; "We never invited yo--", but before she could say it, a few notes of money were kept on the table with the other betting money. Hell, this was gonna be a fun bet.

"You kids don't have anything better to do, huh?", a cold voice comes from behind Satoru, a little shiver running down their spine as they heard it. Here she is. Hanako enters the room, her heels clacking against the wooden surface of the floor.

"Come on, Hana! It's just a bet!", The white-haired man immediately gleams out, walking towards the woman despite her cold aura. He didn't care honestly, it's not like she would yell or push him away. They were best friends after all.

"Suit yourself I guess? News says there's no rain for today.", she shrugged as the students whined. No rain means their day will be packed with missions, and it was upsetting.

"Gosh, Hana. You're such a party pooper. Look at the kids, they have so much enthusiasm in them!", Satoru chuckles softly, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as he leans against her.

She scoffs lightly, seeing him just enter her personal space just like that even though it's a daily occurrence. She's used to it since the ten years he's been bugging her.

The soft smell of wet grass and sand hits her nose, her head turning towards the open doors that revealed the school ground. The students immediately cheered, it was raining! No missions and jujutsu teaching!

"Guess you were wrong~", Satoru whispered teasingly into her ear as she immediately flicked him on his forehead, making the annoying man dramatically wince. "Oh, Hana-chan~ You've hurt my heart!", He says dramatically, putting a hand on his chest.

"It's just a forehead flick, stupid.", she says nonchalantly, staring outside into the sky as the raindrops glisten as they fall. It was awfully beautiful. She feels a sudden stir in her mind.

She removes his hand off her shoulder, making him pout as he watches her. She steps outside, standing on the grass as the water droplets fall on her hair, skin, and clothes. It felt relaxing, and soothing. She feels a very small smile plant on her face, she loves rain. It reminded her of the times she used to play around in them as a child with her mother and sister.

It wasn't long until the rain increased, and she was soaked from head to toe. She chuckles softly as she calls out to them, "Come on! What are you all doing just standing there?"

The students immediately see it as a green light as smiles coat their faces, making them immediately cheer and jump under the rainy sky, all of them running around and laughing, while Satoru just watched them. No, not them. He watched her.

His eyes linger even behind the blindfold, staring at her figure, soaked and wet from head to toe. Her clothes clung to her skin, that damn corset she wore emphasizing her figure even more that he just had to fight the urge to run up to her and hold her in his arms right then and there.

Her bangs were pushed back, revealing even more of the obvious scar across the right side of her face. She was mesmerizing, a true beauty to his eyes even with that scar. His heart does a backflip when she stops and looks back at him with her navy blue eyes with the droplets even lingering on her lashes. He could stare into those orbs forever.

And his heart does an entire summersault when he watches her walking up to him like that. No, please don't. He'll die if she gets any close to him like that.

"What are you standing here for? Come on.", she chuckles as she brings a hand forward. The moment she tries to touch him, an invisible barrier blocks her from doing so. Infinity.

"I'm fine. You seem like you're enjoying yourself, go ahead.", He chuckles, obviously trying to shake off her request.

Satoru never liked rain. It felt even more awful and depressing, especially when it touched him. He was the strongest, he's not supposed to enjoy something like the rain. His job is to give and protect, not run and play in the rain like some child. That's so stupid, something the weak would do, right? He can't let anyone, or anything touch him. The only time he enjoyed the rain, was once, with Suguru back in highschool. But those days were over, the past was the past. There was no enjoyment for him in this life, and he was adamant on that fact.

But deep down, she too understood that fact all too well. But she wasn't going to let him drown in an empty void he had forced on himself.

His hidden expressions were like an open book. He can't hide it from her, and he knew it. She was like some magician who could see through him when no one could. She could see through his giddily demeanor and witness the real him. He hated it. But he loved it.

"Turn off your infinity, Satoru.", God damn it. He just loved his name coming from her mouth. It was like a sweet melody calling out to him. A spell that would make him do anything from her, and like she wanted, he did. He turned it off, the hand of her now resting on his shoulder.

"Why don't you come along? It won't hurt you if you get a little soaked under the rain for once.", she says in a soft voice, her usual cold tone fading, and it sent a shiver through him.

"I don't want to. I'm fine right here, Hana.", he replied, his voice in a fair whisper. She made it so inviting, and wanting, but he held himself back. He hated the rain.

She sighed, looking back at the students who were enjoying themselves freely. She turns back to him, stepping close enough to make sure he could hear even her breathing.

"You don't have to be the strongest all the time, Satoru." She whispered in a serious, yet a kind voice. It stung so bad when she said it, and he understood she was right. But he couldn't bring himself to just, have fun. That's not his job. What he was born for.

"Satoru. Let it go, for once. You're not the strongest, you're human, like all of us.", the words hit his already weak heart. She knew every way to make him feel things she shouldn't feel. But that was why he loved her.

"You know I can't do that. You know it better than anyone, Hanako.", he says quietly, the tiredness was evident in his voice and it pained her to hear it.

"If you keep this up, the rain will stop. So just listen to me for once in your life.", She sighed. She didn't want to see him carry on this burden, but if anything, she wanted to help him carry it together.

If only he would ever let her.. which she knew he never would. But she wouldn't stop trying. Never.

She had no choice. She grabbed his hand immediately, dragging him with all her strength out of the porch.

It was funny to him, watching her be so reluctant on having him enjoy the rain for once. Yet it was so heartwarming, to see that she was doing it for him.

She successfully dragged him under the rain, the soft droplets hitting her skin again as she smiled. But she saw the droplets stop at his stupid invisible barrier. Damn this idiot.

"Satoru..", she looks at him, her eyes telling him everything already. He almost wanted to kiss the hell out of her for it. "For once.. listen to me.", she says softly.

Satoru sighed, feeling his heart clench as he saw her expression. He'd be damned if he said no. The barrier turns off in an instant, the droplets now hitting his skin as well, soaking his hair and blindfold.

She chuckles softly, glad to see him listen to her. She spins around, giggling softly to herself.

That was the most emotion Satoru has ever seen out of her because she was always so cold and distant but right now she was so lively, and he'd always cherish this. In every part of his mind.

It felt awfully.. nice. It wasn't unpleasant, it wasn't depressing. It was calm and sweet. And he knew it was all because of her.

He feels a smile creep on his face, watching her have her fun under the rain. It warmed his heart, and he wishes this lasts forever as he decided to join her and make this moment worth it.

He thought about it again and knew his answer. He loved the rain. He loved her.
