Hi. My name is Eve Riddle, and I'm going to tell you about my first love. His name was Carson Malfoy. I'll admit that all I wanted was a little summer fling with a bad boy, but Carson was anything, but a bad boy. He was gentle and kind. I wanted more from him that just a fling, I wanted a life with him. To be able to call him mine.
I got that honor to call him my love, but he was ripped from my arms all too quickly. Sorry, I'm getting too far ahead of myself. It was the summer of 2013, and I had flown to Arkansas to visit my father and his wife. The plane ride was dreadfully long, but I needed it. My mother and younger sister were so close to having me jump down their throats. Unfortunately, my mother forced me to bring my younger sister with.
I didn't mind it, but I was so annoyed with her. All she ever did was talk. Even in her sleep she would carry on with conversations with herself. It was irritating, but it would only be for a few months. After that I was going home and moving out. I would be eighteen and a college student. Going to college at Kansas University. We arrived at the airport shortly after I had taken my nap.
We got off and our father stood there, a big dorky grin on his face. My sister ran to him and jumped into his open arms. The sight was amusing as my father attempted to swing my fourteen year old sister around. I just went to the baggage claim and grabbed our things. I walked over to them and of course, my sister was talking his ear off. His wife, Lily, was by his side, holding his hand. The sight made me want to vomit.
I was just happy to be with my dad. Even though we had our issues, like when he cheated on my mom with that piece of trash he calls a wife. Now, I know that I am being harsh, but how would you feel if your dad married the homewrecker? Exactly, don't lie, you'd be mad too. Anyway, let's continue on with my story.
My father smiled at me and so did Lily. "Hi, Eveie," he said. I smirked.
"It's Eve, Dad," I told him sternly. His smile grew wider as he saw the angry look on my face. I looked at Lily and rolled my eyes. "Whatever can we go now?" I walked still carrying mine and my sister's things, not bothering to wait for them. They loaded us all into the car and we drove down a small gravel road. I knew my dad lived way out in the country, but not this far. Middle of nowhere, oh well. At least there'll be more room for me to get away from Lily and my sister.
