They've been excused as runaways, but a few people think otherwise. Han Jisung and Lee Felix, two 'soft' boys,  were part of the people who just knew something else had been going on, but they never thought they would be added to the count.

Nothing is ever as it seems.

. . . .

Jisung leaned back in his seat, sitting in his eighth-period English class. Felix rolled his eyes from next to him, trying to focus on a subject he didn't care about– mostly because he was already fluent in English– but also so he could take notes for Jisung to pass.

A thought lay on both of their minds: they would find out the secret behind the missing teenagers. They had to before someone they knew was next. The date scribbled on Felix's paper read September 3rd, 2016. It was about two weeks after another victim had gone missing, and it was coming to the point a new victim would be gone.

Well, if they stuck to the way they were doing it, then that would be the answer. Jisung looked at Felix out of the corner of his eye.

Sometimes, it surprised him how sweet and loving his boyfriend was to him. Felix was an asshole to almost everyone, and Jisung was too. They'd both been hurt too many times to count so they built up walls. They weren't gonna get hurt anymore, or at least they were going to try.

They were quiet, no one really understood them or liked them, but they didn't care. Not when they had each other, that was all that would ever matter. Felix was pretty, almost like something out of a dream. He was so fucking glad the boy was his.

Felix was pretty, petite with blonde hair, a theater kid through and through. Jisung admired him for still being sunshiney even after he'd gone through hell and back. Maybe Jisung hoped Felix would think the same about him.

Finally, the bell rings. Felix takes his time packing up his things while Jisung just shoves his notebook and pen into his bag. The students trickled out, and even their teacher left before Felix was done.

"You've been staring at me this entire period, Ji," Felix stated, giggling. The way he laughed, and the way he smiled, was something Jisung was never going to get used to.

"I know." Jisung rolls his eyes, grabbing ahold of Felix's hand once the boy finishes. "Come on, I wanna go to the Twilight Zone." A spot by the beach where almost all of the kids who were missing were last seen. It was only called that after some movie neither Jisung nor Felix bothered to watch, but some people in their town were starting to refer to it as the vanishing point.

Felix squeezes Jisung's hand and smiles. That one, bright smile that only Jisung ever got to see. He would never, ever, get tired of how much Felix loved him mostly because he was just as in love with the younger. His baby, his sweet, lovely baby who was only ever nice to him.

They walked out of their classroom hand and in hand, staying silent for a few minutes until they were out of the school entirely. "You should change out your piercing," Felix suggested, having gotten tired of the blue ball on his boyfriend's tongue.

It made Jisung laugh, "I thought blue was your favorite color, Lix?"

"Not anymore. I bought you a few more if you'd like to see?" That was another thing Jisung loved about Felix. Always willing to buy him things without him asking. The way Felix was so sweet, but only ever for him. It made him feel special beyond words.

Jisung paused, stopping to think about it for a moment. "What color?"

"It's some kind of heart. One is purple and the other silver. I got them online." Felix responded, swinging both of their hands as they walked. "I thought you'd like them. They're just as pretty as you, honestly." Felix's words always seemed to fluster Jisung. There was something so domestic in the way Felix acted with him that made him feel like he really had found the one he'd be with for the rest of his life.

Jisung shyly put his other hand to his face, covering his blushing face as he looked at the ground. "Come on, Ji, lemme see you." Jisung groaned, but as he turned his head they reached his house.

Avoiding the topic of the previous conversation, Jisung unlocked the front door and pulled Felix inside. "Do you have them on you right now? I'll change them out, and then we can get changed and go."

Felix sighed and then laughed at Jisung and his avoidance of being embarrassed by the comment. Nodding, Felix took off his backpack and placed it on the back of the couch. "You can go get clothes, I think some of mine are in your closet."

"Regardless if they are or not, I'm giving you my clothes." That was their thing, something they did nearly every time they went out together. Felix would take Jisung's clothes, and Jisung would take Felix's. They were the same size, and they both liked oversized clothes, so nothing ever went wrong.

Felix rolls his eyes, "What? Did you want me to give you the clothes I'm wearing right now?" He joked, pulling out the package containing the jewelry for Jisung's tongue. "I told you so you could change into mine. I think it's the black hoodie in there and those stupid white shorts you love so much."

Jisung did in fact, adore the shorts Felix was talking about. They had strawberries on them, and words could not describe how much he loved when either he or Felix wore them. Plus, they were soft.

"Well, excuse me for thinking you were going to break tradition." Jisung deadpanned, trying not to laugh. "Although, do you want that pink hoodie I just got?"

"Does it smell like you?" Felix asked, Jisung shook his head. He'd just got the thing the other day, how could it already smell like him? "Then no. Get me that grey one you wear a lot."

Jisung giggled and rolled his eyes, walking to his room to grab the clothes. Felix was right, the clothes he had mentioned were sitting on the floor of Jisung's closet. He grabbed those, and then the grey hoodie Felix wanted. He thought about it, before grabbing a pair of shorts that somewhat matched his before returning to Felix.

"I don't know why you're so in love with this hoodie." Jisung laughed when Felix's eyes lit up at the sight of it. The younger rolled his eyes, "It smells like you. What other reason would I like it? I like the way you smell."

"It's strawberry perfume, Lix, what good is strawberry-scented perfume?"

Felix deadpanned. "You make me happy, seriously Ji. I love everything about you, even if it's just the scent of your stupid fucking perfume."

Jisung blushed, but this time he didn't look away. "I love you too, Lix." Felix didn't have to say it back for Jisung to know that he felt the same. Felix was always, always going to love Jisung, and the same could be said for him.

They finished getting ready in silence before Felix grabbed Jisung's hand and pulled him impossibly close.

"You're my baby, Ji. I don't care if you're older than me by a day or not, you're my baby." Felix then kissed him, the sweet taste of cherry bubblegum still fresh on Felix's lips from the beginning of their English class. Jisung had never felt more loved, more adored, by someone in his life. No matter what happened, he knew they'd always have each other. Felix pulls away before handing him the little package. "While you were in your room, I got a little cup and filled it with salt water. You're free to change them out if you want to, but if not we can just go."

Jisung shook his head, grabbing the small plastic package that held the two barbells inside. "Thanks, Lix."

Cleaning the piercing and taking the one he already had in didn't take too long. The purple shined in the light. Felix thought Jisung looked like the prettiest thing he had ever seen. Something in him just wanted to cherish him for the rest of their lives. Although, he did that enough.

"You're my pretty baby, Jisungie." Felix giggled, spraying Jisung's perfume on the both of them.

jisung blushed before he started groaning. "I swear, you say this stuff just to tease me. You're my baby too, Lixie. Let's go."

They didn't know they were going to regret that choice.
