Fall of 1991
Luke and Fran arrived at the exclusive magazine headquarters in the heart of Italy, ready to dazzle with their charm and beauty. They were greeted by the editor-in-chief, who led them to the set where the interview would take place.
"Welcome, Luke and Fran," the editor said with a warm smile. "We're thrilled to have you here today for our exclusive feature on the hottest couple in the city." "We're honored to be here," Luke replied, holding Fran's hand as they took their seats on the luxurious couch.
The interviewer, a well-known journalist in the fashion industry, began the interview with a series of questions about their relationship and how they met. "Luke, Fran, thank you for joining us today. Let's start at the beginning. How did your paths cross, and what drew you to each other?"
Luke cast a tender glance at Fran, his eyes alight with affection. "Well for starters I found letters Fran left in the vent of my apartment which led me to do absolutely everything to try and find her. She left a photo of herself in the letters and I instantly fell for her. Her eyes were the first thing that drew me to her, they're dark brown almost hazel colored, they're ravishing. I then got ahold of my publicist Marina and she helped me find her. I took her out to dinner on a rooftop restaurant and there was an instant connection between us. Fran's grace and beauty captivated me from the moment I laid eyes on her."
"We both knew from the moment we met that we had something special," Fran said, gazing lovingly at Luke. "He's my rock, my best friend, and my soulmate." Luke smiled back at Fran, his eyes filled with adoration. "I feel the same way about Fran. She's the most incredible woman I've ever met, and I can't imagine my life without her."
The interviewer nodded in approval, her pen poised to capture every word. "You both exude such chemistry. How do you balance your personal relationship with your professional lives as models?"
Luke intertwined his fingers with Fran's, a gesture of solidarity. "It's all about finding harmony between our personal and professional worlds. We support each other's ambitions and make a conscious effort to prioritize our relationship amidst the demands of our careers."
Fran nodded in agreement. "Communication is key. We make sure to carve out time for each other, even if we live together and in the midst of busy schedules. Trust and understanding are the pillars of our partnership."
The conversation flowed seamlessly as the interviewer delved into the intricacies of Luke and Fran's individual journeys in the fashion industry. They spoke of the challenges they had overcome, the triumphs they had celebrated, and the dreams they shared for the future.
As the interview progressed, Luke and Fran's passion for their craft shone through in every word. They spoke of their commitment to pushing boundaries, breaking stereotypes, and championing diversity in the world of fashion.
The interviewer leaned forward, her eyes alight with curiosity. "What advice would you give to aspiring models who look up to you both as role models?"
Luke's gaze was steely with determination. "Believe in yourself and your unique voice. Stay true to who you are, and never compromise your values for the sake of success."
Fran's voice was infused with warmth. "Embrace the journey, and remember that every experience, whether positive or challenging, shapes you into the person you are meant to be. Be fearless in pursuing your dreams." Luke and Fran shared heartfelt stories about their journey together.
The interview continued with questions about their individual careers as models and their plans for the future. Luke and Fran shared their aspirations and dreams, painting a picture of a bright and exciting future together.
"Do you see the both of you doing another couples photoshoot anytime in the future?" The interviewer asks them, writing down their answers. Fran looks at Luke, "I would say so, I like doing them because we can show the world bits and pieces of our life and share the love we have for one another." Luke gives Fran a soft smile, "I love couples photoshoots, I've been with Fran for 4 years and I'd like to do a wedding photoshoot, just the two of us in my suit and her in her wedding dress, I think that'd be really intimate."
"What are some of the pros and cons about being in the fashion industry?" The interviewer crosses her legs to get comfortable, "I would have to say some of the outfits you wear during shoots you actually get to keep which is a plus, a con I'd have to say is some of the people you'll meet aren't really the nicest, you're also going to receive comments from them that aren't really relevant to you" Fran speaks up before looking at Luke, "Anything you wanna add love?"
Luke takes a deep breath, "Um I'd probably have to agree with Fran. The fashion industry does have its ups and downs, but you have to focus on yourself to get by everything that it's going throw at you. Yes, it's a blessing to keep the clothes you get, it's an honor to meet and speak with high end designers, but in all honesty I think it's more so the backlash you receive when walking down a runway or even walking down the street. About 3 and a half years ago, I moved in with Fran and we got offered to go to New York Fashion Week and someone made a comment about the outfits we were wearing. Fran was hurt by it and since she was so new to the fashion industry I gave her a pep talk to cheer her up." He smiles and kisses the back of her hand.
As the interview came to a close, the interviewer thanked Luke and Fran for their time and wished them continued success in their careers and relationship. "Thank you both for being so open and honest with us today," the interviewer said. "It's clear that your love for each other shines through in everything you do. You truly are a power couple in the world of fashion."
Luke and Fran smiled at each other, grateful for the opportunity to share their story with the world. As they left the magazine headquarters hand in hand, they knew that their love would continue to shine bright, both on and off the runway.
"That was probably my favorite interview we've ever done" Luke smiles and walks down the cobblestone streets, hearing the sound of Fran's heels beside him. "I had a lot of fun, those questions were so well put together and I didn't feel uncomfortable" Fran smiles at him.
"Let's go home to Clover and Teddy. We can cuddle up on the couch with them and watch some movies, maybe order some take out?" Luke suggests, wrapping an arm around her waist. "Sounds like a plan to me" She smiles and kisses his cheek as they make their way back to their little apartment in Bellagio, the place where everything started and where he first came in contact with Fran.
