The school day went peacefully for ishaan until social period arrived and the most hated teacher comes into their class with a big ass ruler in her hands that she carries everyday and a frown on her face. The kids stand up and greet "goooooooooddd afternooooooonnn maaaammmm" upon which she gets even more irritated.
"Why do you have to drag it? Such a headache! Keep the books on my table" She yells while asking the students to submit their homework books.
Ishaan opens his bag to take the book out. But much to his surprise he can't find it! He panics and searched the desks and surroundings and a realization draws upon him that he forgot it on his study table! He palms his head and makes a crying face.
"Kya hua yaar?" His friend asks worried about him.
"Fuckkk yaar homework ki note bhul gaya! Ab wo buddi (old woman) mujhe kacha chaba degi!!" Ishaan almost cries out.
"Ish! Relax man! This is your first time, she might cut you some slack!" His friend says trying to ease him.
"I completed it! But forgot the book all thanks to my idiot brother urging me to hurry up!!" Ishaan says while gritting his teeth.
Everybody except 3 students including ishaan submitted the notebooks. The teacher called out the three students and was surprised to see ishaan among them as he was always studious and punctual.
"What happened to you?" She asked shocked.
"Mam, i completed the homework! I forgot my book at home!"
"Shutup!!! One thing you didn't do your homework and now you are lying??"
"No maam! Promiseee! I completed it!!"
"I don't want to hear anything! Go bring your mother!" She yells and ishaan pales on the spot. Usually the teacher hits them with the ruler and it's done, she has never called somebody's parents to explain. Ishaan feels wronged but can't even move as he doesn't want his mother to know about this.
"Mam pleaseee don't call my mother!! I really completed the homework!" Ishaan pleaded the teacher but she showed no sign of budging. He kept begging her and finally she gave up only after hitting his palms 10 times with the ruler.
He usually never gets hit at school thanks to him being a sincere student and a topper, so it was hard for him to cope up, especially when he was not at fault. He just sat at his desk with a sad face and hoping that his parents don't get to know about this.
[meanwhile in the staffroom]
"I'm unable to comprehend how even good students are lying these days chi!" The social teacher exclaims in front of all the other teachers including madhavi.
"What's wrong?" Another teacher asks even though they all know this is her daily drama.
"Madhavi mam! Are you busy these days?" The social teacher asks madhavi who was shocked by the unexpected question.
"What?" Madhavi replies confused.
"I mean you are letting your kids go loose like that! Even though you are busy with school work, you should still look after your kids!" Social teacher taunts at madhavi. Actually this social mam was always jealous of madhavi. She hated how all the kids liked madhavi and how she gets praised by the principal all the time.
"What happened mam? Did ansh do something?"
"No surprisingly it's not ansh! It is ishaan! He didn't do his homework and on top of that he lied that he forgot his book at him and even disobeyed me when i asked him to call you!" The evil teacher said after adding all the masala.

Madhavi can't believe her ears as ishaan was never the child to do something like this but the teacher taunting at her infront of everybody made her feel extremely humiliated. She just apologized and hing her head in shame. Another teacher who was madhavi's friend consoled her saying that the social teacher was overreacting but she couldn't get over everything.
After school, madhavi was waiting for her kids to leave for home. Ansh comes running towards her and gives a big hug.
"Bohot khush ho aaj? Kya hua hai?" She asks while caressing her golden retriever like younger son's hair.
"Haaa mummaaa! Today our team won in football!" Ansh says while jumping.
"Wow bacha! That is amazing! I'm sooo proud of you!!" She says while kissing his cheeks
Just then ishaan arrives with a worn out face. They head home with only ansh blabbering about the football match. They finally reach home and ishaan sensed that madhavi knows about the shenanigan that he did. But he was in a foul mood as he was not at fault. He did complete his homework and he did not lie. So he speaks before giving madhavi a chance to.
"Isse pelhe ki aap muj pe chillana shuru kare! Rukiye!" He says while storming into his room. He brings the homework book back and gives it to her.
"Sach me bhool gaya tha!" He says with a sad expression.
Madhavi didn't even open the book that he gave and cupped his face. Ishaan breaks his water dam which he has been holding since afternoon and starts crying.
"Maine kuch nahi kaha he ishu... I trust my baby!" Madhavi says while pecking his forehead.
"Then why were you not talking to me?" Ishaan says while crying.
"When was i not talking to you bacha! You were the one who didn't talk to both of us! You had a very irritated face and kept ignoring everything ansh was saying.." madhavi cooes him in her arms and he starts crying even more.
"Maine itna bola mumma unko! Phir bhi mujhe sabke saamne daanta aur maara bhi" ishaan wails in madhavi's embrace while she consoles him softly.
"Ye bhi koi rone ki cheez he kya? Mujhe tho har roz hoti he!" Ansh shrugs not being able to understand his brother. Madhavi glares at him and that shuts him up.
"Ishuu stop crying now... call papa and tell him to get ice cream" madhavi says while patting ishaan's back.
"ICE CREEAAAMMMMMMM" ansh screams his lungs out making madhavi and ishaan chuckle.
As ordered by them, kalyan brings the ice cream in three different flavours catering to each of their requests.
"Meri kamai tum teeno ke khaane peene me hi khatam ho rahi hai" kalyan dramatically sighs while placing the ice cream containers on the counter.
"Aap kitne bure ho papa! Koi apne bacho ko khilane ko bhoj samajte he kya??" Ansh grabs the chance to taunt his dad which earns him a playful smack on his butt.
Madhavi narrated everything to kalyan except the taunting which she faced cause she doesn't want her kids to get worried about it. But kalyan's face turns cold while looking at ishaan.
"Isliye bolta hu me! Cheezo ko use karne ke baad, unke designated place pe rakha karo! Sunte kaha ho mere?" Kalyan speaks in a stern tone towards ishaan. Ishaan just plops his head down.
"Ab chod dijiye... agle baar nahi karega!" Madhavi interferes not wanting her baby to cry again.
"Aur honi bhi nahi chahiye! Ishaan! Agli baar ye hua na tho, you will face the worst of me! Ye kya hai? Apne cheezo par responsibility nahi he! Subah itni careless hote ho ki book bhool jate ho! Sone se pehle agar bag organize karliya hotha, tho ye sab nahi hotha na!!" Kalyan continues scolding ishaan without a pause and finally stops after madhavi squeezes his hand urging him to stop.
"Ji papa" ishaan replies meekly.
Everybody resorts to their bedrooms and madhavi tells everything about the social teacher taunting her about parenting.
"Wo buddi aise kaise bol sakti hai?" Kalyan replies disgusted and angry at the words.
"Tameez se baat karo kalyan! Bacho ko daant the ho aur aap khud aise baat kar rahe ho!" Madhavi gives a glare to kalyan.
"Ye aakhein uss mam ko dikhathi! Kuch bolti unko! Support karti apni ladle ko! Usse Mujse bachane ke liye tho har baar aa jate ho!" Kalyan says sarcastically
"Wo badi hai kalyan! Mai kaise back talk karti! Ab bas no more discussions so jao! She is like that to everyone!" Madhavi covers her head with the blanket.
Kalyan sighs and sleeps while shaking his head.
