"Are you sure this was a good idea?" Melissa called out to you from across the backyard as she was hanging up decorations on a ladder with Rachel beside her.

You were busy making sure the chefs had made all the right food which happened to be Jungwons favourites with his sister as source.

"Don't get me wrong babes. A birthday party for him is great, but inviting company employees as guests?" Rachel's face scrunched with disapproval and little cringe as she approached you from behind. "Wouldn't you rather have a house party for Uni friends?"

"He doesn't go to University. Besides. This way, it'll seem like it's just for the contract. You know, just helping out my dad." You said moving around a few decorations. You were pretty excited for this.

Rachel just watched with furrowed eyebrows. Clearly not with you on the same page.

"We know you like him. You said it yourself." Rachel said as you paused what you were doing for a moment. You quickly shook off the feeling and continued.

"Yeah. Besides. Don't you think you could use this opportunity to show him how you feel?" Melissa suggested. "You don't have to do everything to please your dad."

"Guys, I appreciate the idea. But." You turned around to face them as you stopped at your words for a moment, taking a breath. "This is supposed to be on a contract. It shouldn't involve how I really feel."

"But there's no rule that you can't fall for him. Isn't that better for the contract? It'll make it more believable." Melissa kept trying to convince you.

"What? Is there a condition on the contract where you can't really fall inlove? It's not like you're dealing with the mafia or something." Rachel added on. A little firmer with her words than Melissa. "You're both from well respected families. There's no reason you can't be together."

"You guys don't get it. Yes it might be better if we were really in love. But we're not. He doesn't like me that way." You kept denying.

"How do you know? We saw you at the engagment party. You were about to kiss him!" Rachel said, feeling the urge to grab you and shake some sense into you.

"No we weren't. We were just dancing."
