'BELLYACHE' AS THE FIRST SINGLE, I still couldn't believe it.

After a two hour meeting with the people from EMI at 9AM, we presented the four tracks to the executives and Mr. Z. So far, they loved it! They find it very different compared to the other musicians they have listened but enjoyed the composition of 'bad guy' and 'bellyache'.

They did find 'bitches broken hearts' to most likely be underrated or underappreciated to many (and I get why because it was also underappreciated to the mainstream public but loved by fans) and 'idontwannabeyouanymore' as hard hitting but Mr. Z remarked that it will be a song that will resonate the teens and young adults who have been through that time of their own lives. They appreciated how the harmonizer enhances the peculiar bouncy vibe of bellyache during the chorus.

One of the executives said that if this becomes the single, it could be one of the many firsts that initiated the 'synthesizer movement' which is also known as the futuristic sound of the 80s. Having 'bellyache' as one of the songs that revolutionized the future 80s sound is absolutely NOT on my bucket list but well, I can't undo anything now can't I?

So we got the clear for bellyache as the first single and it will be released in two days or so therefore the marketing team and other people will have to promote that there'll be a new singer coming to the music scene. Me and the band did made some noise at The Caverns and I'm pretty sure the Hendersons incident was still the 'most talked about' topic now that my performance was featured at this lifestyle show Mr. Jones was talking about.

Any minute now, I could be recognized by people passing by. Scary but let's see how this fame goes in the 70s.

Since our meeting at 9AM, it ended at around 11:30 so that gives us time to go to brunch together before heading back to the studio to work on another banger from the lineup, 'copycat'. During lunch, I started to get to know more about Felix and Andrew's personal background. Andrew was from Liverpool supporting his two loving parents as an aspiring musician, he began taking drum lessons at the age of 5, competed in local music competitions and got discovered by Nancy Sinatra at a local pub so that's where he got his start in the music industry working as a drummer supporting various music acts. He graduated last year with a degree on Visual Arts as he once aspired to become a multimedia artist but because of his passion for music. He decided to go through that path and if that fails, he can still fall back into his college course and find something else.

Felix, on the other hand, he was the breadwinner of his own family in Manchester and took care of his two siblings. One younger brother and sister. His parents were a good friend of Jimi Hendrix, I suppose that is where he got discovered thanks to his talented skills on the guitar, piano and bass though he said that he played bass for Jimi, drums for Cream and guitar for James Brown. Before fame, Felix used to work at a coffee shop in downtown Manchester by day and a night club performer by night, doing solo covers of The Rolling Stones, The Doors and other artists.
