         Emily's POV

"What the fuck" I cussed hitting the steering wheel, clearly frustrated that some dude just hit my car. I was already late to work and I didn't need this shit.

"Don't you have a driver's license" A deep voice said. I caught sight of the culprit who had damaged my car through his reckless driving.

I couldn't help but gasp inwardly. He was a catch. He had soft brown hair that fell on his forehead with matching brown eyes that gave a mysterious vibe. His pointed nose and chiseled jawline didn't go unnoticed, his pink tempting lips were set in a thin line and his baby blue shirt didn't make it hard to see his well defined chest and rock-hard abdomen. His tan skin was glowing under the sun making him look like a guy from a sunscreen commercial.

"I can see you forged yours" I said sharply getting out of my car to find myself get intimidated by his height.
So what if he was tall and muscular, you know what they say, the bigger they are the louder they cry.

I could see amusement in his brown eyes and another emotion I couldn't seem to fathom.

"You should look of a more discreet way of checking a guy out" He was sure as hell cocky. A little cocky for his own good.

"Yet I was disappointed by the lack of things to feast my eyes on" I replied sharply.

"You sure about that" It was too bad he had an attractive face. It would have been better if he was ugly, so that I would plummet my fist in his face.

"I don't have all day for this, give me your number" I said stretching out my phone to input his phone number.

He glanced at my phone and scoffed, his lips pulled up to a smirk and I couldn't help but appreciate this man's beauty.

"Oh I see, you're one of the desperate ones. Hitting a man's car just to get his number. How pathetic" He spat to my face but not before saying "Since you seem so desperate, I'll just let it slide" He closed the distance between us making me hold my breath under his scrutinizing gaze. He threw something at my face and walked towards his car.

He drove off while I stood there still processing what had just happened. I was usually very confident and for me to become speechless because of a guy was a very big deal to me. I hadn't felt at loss for words since Justin. And he will always be a sensitive subject for me. I knew I was every guy's dream but I hadn't been with anyone since I was 15, and somewhere I was scared of this guy making my heart beat like this even when I had seen more attractive guys than him.

I picked up his business card and felt the quality of the card against my fingers. I looked at the name.

Chips and crisps

He owned a very popular restaurant. At least he did something impressive in his lifetime. I looked back to search for his phone number and I found his name at the bottom.

   Darren.
