Party Night

As the two cheer besties headed back to their dorm. Leilani could not stop replaying the moments her and Nika shared in the bathroom at the cafe. She was honestly thinking about it more than her shit ex boyfriend. He still hadn't noticed that the message he sent was to her, and she didn't care to respond. She was over it.

"Well that was fun. What do you think Lani?"

"Yeah it was fun. Other than finding out your boy is cheating on me I enjoyed the food and company from the girls."

"What?!" The roommate almost broke her neck to make eye contact with her.

"Yes." Leilani pulls out her phone to show the message she received during brunch.

"Girl i'm sorry." She observed the message that her roommate received earlier.

"Don't be i'm not tripping over it. He's a waste of space, not only in my life but in the universe."

"Ughh i'm so glad you feel that way because I am on cloud nine about KK and i didn't wanna rub it in your face if you were miserable.

They both share a laugh. "Nah i'm good of him."

"Great! Because while you were in the bathroom taking a shit, we were invited to a party tonight with the gorlsss." Vereena wraps her arm around Leilani as they walk side by side. "I was gonna say you could invite bitch boy but this is even better because now Nika can come and there will be no bad vibes!"

Leilani eyes lit up at the thought of seeing Nika tonight. "Sounds like fun. Also I'm so happy that you and KK are hitting it off. I always knew there was a vibe between you two." She reaches over to place her arm around Vereena's waist as they walk side by side to their dorm.

"Nika get up and help me clean for fucks sake." Nika had been thinking about Leilani nonstop since their talk. She couldn't shake the thought of how close they were and how soft her face felt in her hands.

She wanted more.

"I'm taking a quick break, we have hours before the party starts. Relax Paigey boo." Except Paige could not relax. She had plans for her to finally make some sort of move on Azzi tonight and wanted everything to be perfect.

"NIKA!" Paige was getting frustrated with her twin "Please just fucking help me."

"Okay, if it will get your panties out of your ass jesus." She gets up and heads to the kitchen where Paige was wiping the counters. She grabs the broom and starts to sweep.

"So what happened with you and Lani in the bathroom? You guys were in there awhile." Paige says after 4 mins of silence and cleaning.

"What are you talking about? I had to pee and she probably had to shit." She didn't want to let her teammates know that they were right about the cheerleader. That she thought Leilani was so kind. So pretty. So charming. Nika couldn't really understand the sudden heart change she felt towards her.

"You can't lie to me twin." Paige walks up to Nika so they are face to face. "I know you're lowkey feeling Lani, I saw you guys making googly eyes."

"Shut up Paige, You don't know everything. I'm giving her a chance because you guys are all forcing her on me." Nika then walks away to her room closing the door behind her. She didn't want to continue the conversation with her teammate.
