May 2017

It's been two weeks since everyone has left for those missions. Although I pretended to dread being stuck with Tony, I have actually loved spending time with my nephew. Along with spending time with Tony, Peter has come over every day after his schooling. I train with him for at least an hour and the rest of the time, we either join Tony in the lab, bother grumpy Happy, or watch movies until Peter has to leave.

Peter has some project or whatever so I am with Tony for the day. All morning, Tony has a lot of meetings to go to with Pepper. Rather than being alone in the compound, I joined their meetings all morning. We just finished eating lunch at this one amazing restaurant called The Shawarma Palace. It was absolutely amazing! Pepper suggested that we should go on a walk at Central Park. I hesitated going but Tony reassured everything would be fine, simply by pointing to his chest and my wrist band.

"Slow down. Slow down," Tony tightens his jacket around his neck, "I'm totally not kidding."

"Repeat what you are talking about again, Toucan?" I raised an eyebrow.

"You're totally rambling," Pepper laughs, "Lost me."

"No, I'm not. Look," Tony starts waving his hands around, "You know how you're having a dream, and in the dream you gotta pee?"

"Okay..."

"Yeah," Pepper tilts her head.

"Okay, and then you're like, 'Oh my god, there's no bathroom!" Tony continues to wave his hands, "Oh! Someone's watching. 'I'm gonna go in my pants!'"

I rub my temples and shake my head, sighing.

"Right. And then you wake up, and," Pepper smiles, "In real life, you actually have to pee."

"Yes," Tony nods.

"I'm pretty sure. Everybody has that, Tones," I chuckle, "So what's your point?"

"Right. That's the point I'm trying to make! Apropos of that," Tony stops walking and looks at Pepper, "Last night, I dreamt we had a kid. So real. We named him after your eccentric uncle. Uh, what was his name?"

A child comes over to ask for a selfie with me. I gladly nod while listening to Pepper and Tony's conversation.

"Right," Pepper nods, understanding Tony.

"Mogan! Morgan," Tony remembers.

I kneel and smile with the kid for the selfie. They thank me and give me a hug. I awkwardly hug them back, still not too keen on being touched by random people.

"So you woke up, and thought we were..." Pepper pauses for Tony's answer as I get up slowly.

"Expecting," Tony nods.

"Yeah," Pepper closes her eyes for a moment.

"Yes?" Tony asked excitedly.

"No," Pepper shakes her head.

"I had a dream about it," Tony sighs, "It was so real."

"If you wanted to have a kid," Pepper unravels Tony's jacket and taps Tony's chest, "You wouldn't have done that."

"She is right, Tones, " I chuckle, agreeing with Pepper.

"I'm glad you both brought it up, 'cause it's nothing," Tony disputes, "It's just a housing for nanoparticles."

"It's not helping your case, okay?" Pepper shakes her head.

"You are so stubborn," I rolled my eyes.

"No, no, it's an attachment, it's not a-"
