I am quite proud of my work, Lucas is with the infirmary with quite a lot of wounds.

Lu is still simmering, her blood lust is satisfied though.

My pack is smug especially Zeke who has healed with a few new scars, with a new mate who is probably worrying the hell out of David (my beta) right now. Everyone is sending me 'congratulations' and 'good jobs' through the mindlink.

Ahh.......it felt good to let the anger out on him.......... I hope he has no hard feelings?

"Hi Jade, do you want to take a walk in the forest?" Caleb, one of the boys from Coleridge Pack, winked

Mmmm....he is a fine piece of meat I've had my eye on since I've been here. Plus I need to let out some of the frustrations of being near Lucas.

"Sure, I know a place where we will not be interrupted"

Lucas's P.O.V

God that bitch!

I got to admit she is in the top few of the girls I've hooked up with to do a number on me.

I remember that girl Mandy, I took her V-Card and she turned crazy wolf and ripped me to shreds.

"Alpha, you're good to go" The pack doctor confirmed.

I took my leave.

A giggle rang from outside, throughout the pack house.

I went outside, I could see Jade's daughter Zelena climbing around in the trees near the pack house, swinging from branch to branch.

"Zelena, do you know where your mother is?" I called out as she dropped to the ground.

"She went into the forest with Caleb" This got my interest peaked

"Who's Caleb? And why would they be in the forest"

"Oh he's just one of the guys Mum has had her eyes on for the last week or so. And they are probably shagging right now." She said, walking and sitting in front of me

And if to back up that point I could feel that pain.

"So, what has your Mum told you about mates?" I wonder what she was told about me.

She looked me dead in the eyes.

"Mum always has drummed into me that mates are your perfect match and are your soul mate, that they will love you unconditionally and will protect you. But mum has also said that she was the exception, that her mate was a pathetic asshole who rejected her, hurt her and almost killed her"

She spoke with fury beyond her age.

Jeez, Jade hates me that much?

The trees rustle and out comes a flushed and panting Jade. She walks toward us and picks up Zel, ignoring me. And brings her back into the house.

What a slut Jayden commented

I just sit there, and finally the guy I was waiting for came out, trying to sneak in without me noticing.

"Caleb" I called

"Alpha" he acknowledged

"What were you doing with the visiting Alpha?"

"Getting a taste, and boy was she good. I get why you hooked up with her before you rejected her" he replied, not seeing the problem.

"And plus I'm not the only guy from this pack to have been with her, you should hear all the bragging that goes on when you're not around." This is just adding to the fury.

Why the heck am I jealous?

I stalk off, mind linking jasmine to the forest with me.
