24. Donuts

A week later
At the Aizawa residence

Aizawa sat on the couch. Shinso was insomnia was messing with him again. So Aizawa was telling Shinso about his past cases he work on. Shinso sipped on his hot chocolate as he listened.

"Wait, you was a gangster?!"said Shinso. Aizawa was telling him about the undercover operation he was on few years ago.

"Technically. Now focus I had to work my way up in rank." Aizawa continues his story. When katsuki walked in.

"Can't sleep?"shinso suggest.

" I can sleep. That nightmare woke me back up." Said katsuki with annoyance.

"The fire one?" Asked Shinso. Katsuki looked at Aizawa before looking at Shinso.

"Maybe." He said.

"I will make you some hot chocolate."said Aizawa. He stood up. Katsuki shook his head.

"No need. Shinso can help me." Said katsuki. Shinso knows katsuki wants to be commanded to go to sleep. But Shinso did that before, it only end in katsuki staying in a never ending nightmare loop until the quirk wears off. Katsuki will be more tired than before.

"No." Said Shinso. He can't risk that again. Katsuki doesn't know the feel of watching someone you who in pain that you cause and can't help.

"Fine. I will ask cinnamon." Said katsuki. Shinso stopped him while Aizawa went to get some hot chocolate for katsuki.

"Don't you dare!" Said Shinso. He pulled katsuki to sit on the couch. " you are not going interrupted his sleep because you only going make worry about you." He adds. But he omits the part where Izuku will worry about him too. Izuku doesn't know how bad Shinso's insomnia gets. Katsuki only knows because of his nightmares keeps him up at night sometimes.

Aizawa came with another cup of hot chocolate. He gave it to katsuki who raised an eyebrow.

" it's good."said Shinso. Katsuki took a sipped. Shinso looked at Aizawa. "Finish your story"he said.

"Right. So in order to work my way in rank. I have build my network." Said Aizawa. Katsuki was knocked out sleep before end of the story. Shinso fell asleep shortly afterwords.

They both woke up the next morning in their Izuku bed. Izuku was scrolling through his phone as he waited for them to get up. Izuku sat up and look at them.

"I thought you didn't like cuddling, Kacchan." Said Izuku. Katsuki toss a pillow at him before getting out of the bed. Izuku looked at Shinso.

"Nightmares?" He suggest. Shinso nodded. It technically not a lie since nightmares are the cause of insomnia to begin with. Izuku petted Shinso head.

"You want sweets for breakfast? I think Aizawa is up. We can get donuts!"said Izuku. Shinso nodded. Izuku left the room to go find Aizawa.

"Does Aizawa always do that?" Asked katsuki.

"Usually he places me in my bed." Said Shinso. He got out of Izuku bed. Katsuki shook his head.

" not that. He put something in the hot chocolate." Said katsuki.

" yeah. But I don't care. I am finally getting some decent sleep nowadays." Said Shinso. Izuku came back with a smile.

"Guys! Get dressed! We are going out for breakfast!"said Izuku. The brothers got ready the day.

They went to local donut shop. Aizawa ordered some donuts and drinks. Izuku was happily eating his donut. Shinso sipped on his coffee. Katsuki quietly enjoying his food when Aizawa spoke.

"Katsuki, did you think about your hero name will be?"asked Aizawa. Izuku perked up in interest.

"Great explosion murder god Dynamight." Said katsuki.

"I told you no to that one already in class." Said Aizawa.

"Shinso, what's your hero name?" Asked Izuku.

" mindjack." Said Shinso proudly.

" that's so cool. I wonder do I get a code name for my job."said Izuku.

" some support worker have a different name under their creations." Said Aizawa. Izuku nodded.

"Cinnamon, if you had to pick a hero name what would it be?" Asked Shinso. Izuku shrugged.

"But something cool like Shinso hero name!"said Izuku. Katsuki scoffed. " Kacchan, your name is too long."

"And violent."shinso adds. Izuku agreed. Katsuki rolled his eyes.

"Katsuki, keep thinking. Izuku, are you doing any internships?"asked Aizawa. Izuku nodded as he finished up eating his donut.

"Me and mei are going to intern at power loader agency." Said Izuku.

"Mei?"asked Aizawa.

"Hatsume. She is a girl from my class."said Izuku. Katsuki and Shinso mood changed.

"What is her quirk?" Asked katsuki.
"she is odd. She doesn't seem trustworthy."said Shinso.
" why her?"asked katsuki
" if you want to go with you on internship, I can go." Shinso suggested.

"Guys, calm down. She is cool. Power loader asked us because we are the top in the class." Said Izuku.

"Where is power loader agency?" Asked katsuki. Izuku was about answer when Aizawa spoke.

"Katsuki, you already picked best Jeanist agency. You can't change it because Izuku is at a different city." Said Aizawa.

"City?!"said Shinso and katsuki. Izuku smiled apologetically at his brothers. He going to tell them at the last second but the plan is gone.

"I want my internship with Izuku." Said Shinso to Aizawa. Shinso pick to intern with Aizawa to learn more about the bidding cloth weapon.

"No. You boys pick different agency to improve on individual skills. You will hinder your grow if you try to stay together during internships." Said Aizawa. The mood changed to a sad one. The teens understood what Aizawa was saying but they didn't want to admit it.
