They've been flying through space for 3 years. Three long years! They've made it quite far and seen many remarkable things. Things no one ever saw before! But now suddenly they were facing problems. They were caught in the middle of a space storm and there was nothing they could do. The mothership was to badly damaged to continue and if they wanted to survive, they'll have to continue on their own Voyage spaceships... This however would mean they'll never reach their new planet... In fact, that meant they won't even reach Earth. Their little ships had way too little fuel and they'll have to find another solution. It wasn't the best option, but it was all they had at that moment and none of them wanted to die. They quickly ran towards their own ships and settled in before quickly separating from the mothership and went deeper into the storm. The family tried to stay together, flying very close and following each other, but even that soon became impossible. After only 5 minutes the two spaceships lost each other and had to do what they could to survive. Suddenly large dark holes and colourful tornados blocked their way, and it became almost impossible to fly around them. They did their best, but even Björn and Benny couldn't avoid all. Darkness surrounded them and soon there was no light. All was dark.
Frida was beginning to wake up. Her eyelids were heavy, and she couldn't open her eyes... not yet... Everything felt weird, and she felt so lightheaded. She was happy she had her spacesuit on, otherwise she wouldn't survive this, this was for sure! Everything hurt and she could feel an enormous force pushing her deeper in the chair, crushing her ribs... this must be her seatbelt... She finally opened her eyes and what she saw didn't give her much hope either. She was still in their spaceship, but the spaceship was hanging off a cliff... the only thing breaking their fall weas the glass wall of the cabin and their seatbelts. Oh, just how much she was grateful for those in this moment.
She looked around for a bit, careful not to move an inch. She couldn't risk moving and causing them all to fall into the depts. Everyone was still knocked out and she was the only one awake. She could clearly see the light brown hair of her husband... Wait! His hair was light brown! She looked at herself, still moving slowly and gently, it won't do them any good if they crashed even more. Her hair was red and straight... she was back to her 1977 self! Shit! Was she pregnant too?! She remembered the words of their captain. It was a possibility...
She carefully climbed out of her chair making sure to hold on tight as she climbed on the back of it. She used her wristband and a wire attached itself on the very back of the room and pulled her there. She activated the button for emergency and the spaceship managed one last flight before it totally broke down. Frida breathed a sigh of relief. They were ... relatively... safe and they won't fall off a cliff... now it was time to wake everybody else. They had a lot to do and no idea how much time they had.
She checked that all the kids were breathing but didn't try to wake them yet. First, she needed the four of them to be aware of everything. She decided to wake Agnetha first... it only seemed fair... and Agnetha was the one that was the most trained in medical field... she really needed her ribs checked... they all probably did...
"Agnetha..." she whispered. She didn't know why she was being so quiet, but she felt it was the best like that. Agnetha slowly woke up to her sister's comforting voice. Her ribs hurt. What the hell happened!? She remembered the storm and then it all went dark. "Frida?" she asked confused as she opened her eyes. "Where are we?" she asked her best friend. "I don't know..." Frida answered truthfully. "An unknown planet probably..." Agnetha was trying to push her space helmet off, but Frida stopped her. "We don't know if the air is safe here Anna. Just wait a bit. Maybe soon. For now, we need to use the helmets..." Anna nodded. "Wait!" she exclaimed. "Your hair!" she was speechless. "It's red! How?!" then she remembered everything. "We're young again..." she said breathlessly. She could hardly believe it! "Wait! This means we could be pregnant..." she concluded. Frida just nodded and they both smiled. It was simply magical. They needed to figure out something though, they could already see the weather changing and it wasn't for better but rather for worse.
They each went to their husbands and woke them up, quickly explaining to them what they knew. They all were confused and surprised. It felt weird being young again... who goes from 64/67/68/69 back to 27/30/31/32... it seemed impossible, but it was true! They just did that after all. Now it was time to wake their kids and see what the situation was. One thing was for sure... they didn't see any teenagers or pre-teens... their kids were younger too. They could see baby Solveig... she wasn't even a year old and then little Clara who didn't look a day over two. Then there were Gösta, Folke, Sonja and Vera who were all 3 years old and then the older 'quadruplets' – Magnus, Ingrid, Oscar, and Sigrid were 7 years old. Little Esther and Signewere 6 years old and surprisingly Synni was 5 years old and Saga only a year younger than her sister was 4 years old.
They woke the kids up and made sure everyone was ok before finally the moment they've all been waiting for was just about to happen. In only a couple seconds, they'll sat foot on a new planet... one that's never seen a species like them... probably... who knows what they'll find. One thing was for sure though... Great adventures awaited them behind the big heavy door.
