Four

~Sleeping in a HAUNTED house~

"What the fuck was that?!" I yelped quickly as I heard a loud bang from the next room over. Seth, Colby, Josh, and Sam all looked in the same direction as me and shake their heads, signaling that they also didn't know.

We continued on during the night and now it was time for the biggest task of all... sleeping. We would be split into three groups. Two groups of two and one by their self.

"So, one person will be alone." Sam says to us "Not it!"

"Not it." I said quickly

"Not it."

"Not it."

"Damn!" Colby cursed out "Hal!"

"Sorry Colbs," I smiled "You must sleep alone."

Colby grumbled loudly.

We figured out quickly how to sleep. Josh and Sam had one of the bedrooms. Colby had the basement. Seth and I had the living room. We all split up and I walked outside really quick.

"Damn." I say under my breath. I pull out my Strawberry melon flavored vape and took a long hit, blowing out the smoke "Now w-"

"Halle?" I heard behind me. I jumped at the sudden voice "What are you doing?"

"Oh," I say back "Hey, Seth. Um.. I just came out for some fresh air. I'm coming in now."

    I jump up from the ground and head inside and over to my little pallet I had made in the living room floor, "Why couldn't we have gotten a bedroom. This floor is hard."

Seth chuckles at me and replies, "There's always the couch."

I shrugged while looking back at the couch, "Yeah... but I already spent ten minutes making a damn pallet. Might as well use it.."

     If I'm being honest... Seth looked really cute right  now. He always does though, but right now he looks extra cute.. I'm also terrified off my fucking ass.

I got under the covers and stared up at the ceiling, "Seth?"

"Yeah?" He speaks back immediately

"Are you scared?" I questioned and he sat up

"Are you?" He asks me calmly and I nodded quickly "I can move closer if you want..."

Was he being serious?

"Uh..." I say shakily "S-Sure.."
