Time

Sister is anxious, she needs time
Mom and Dad fuss
I am scared and alone
But sister needs time
(Take a breath and move on she needs it more than you)

Mom is in pain, she needs time
The house is quiet
The house is quiet, my bones vibrate, I want to move
But mom needs time
(Put on your headphones and distract yourself she needs it more than you)

Dad is stressed, he needs time
Everything is a mess
I am useless, I clean it all, still it is a mess
But Dad needs time
(Step around the mess and close your door he needs it more than you)

I am anxious, I am in pain, I am stressed
No one fussed
The house was loud
Everything was spotless
I am scared, alone, restless, vibrating, useless
I gave my time, there is none left
I need time, but they needed it first
