I decided it was time to get a better understanding of each boy’s needs and habits, so I made a plan to ask them about their preferences and what I should keep in mind while caring for them. My first stop was to talk to the dragons—Namjoon and Jungkook.

I found Namjoon in the living room, lounging comfortably with a book. His gaze met mine as I approached, and I could tell he was ready to help.

“Hey, Namjoon,” I started, trying to sound casual despite my nerves. “I wanted to ask you about your habits and any specific needs you might have. I know I should have probably asked this earlier, but...”

Namjoon looked up and smiled reassuringly. “It’s perfectly fine. We understand that we’re rare breeds and not everyone would know what we need right away. Just ask away.”

Relieved by his calm demeanor, I continued. “Okay, so what are some of your specific needs?”

Namjoon set his book aside and explained, “As a dragon, I need a few things to feel comfortable. For one, I enjoy having access to plenty of space, especially for flying or stretching my wings. Also, I have a particular preference for cooler temperatures. Heat can be uncomfortable for me.”

I nodded, taking notes. “Got it. Cool environments and plenty of space for movement. Anything else?”

Namjoon thought for a moment. “I also have a soft spot for shiny objects. I like to keep a collection of them around. It makes me feel at home.”

“Okay, I’ll keep that in mind,” I said, making a note. “Thanks, Namjoon.”

Next, I went to find Jungkook, who was in the backyard, practicing some aerial maneuvers. He landed gracefully as I approached, wiping sweat from his brow.

“Hey, Jungkook,” I called out. “I’m trying to get a better understanding of everyone’s needs. Can you tell me about yours?”

Jungkook smiled, stretching his wings. “Of course. Unlike Namjoon, I prefer warmer environments for my well-being. I’m used to more heat, and it helps with my stamina and energy. Also, I need frequent exercise to stay healthy and happy. Regular flights and activities are important for me.”

I made notes quickly, paying close attention. “Warm environments and plenty of exercise. Anything specific you like or dislike?”

Jungkook nodded. “I also need a space where I can practice flying safely. And while I don’t have as strong a preference for shiny things as Namjoon, I do appreciate having a few personal items around to make the space feel like mine.”

“Got it. Warm space, exercise, and a personal area for your things,” I said, finishing my notes.

After speaking with both dragons, it was clear they had distinct needs despite both being dragons. Namjoon preferred cooler temperatures and shiny objects, while Jungkook thrived in warmer environments and required regular exercise. Understanding these differences would be key in ensuring both of them felt comfortable and happy in their new home.

Feeling more informed, I set out to learn about the other boys’ needs, eager to make everyone’s transition into our home as smooth as possible.

The next stop on my quest to understand everyone’s needs was to talk to Yoongi, my panther hybrid. I found him lounging in a corner of the living room, his sleek black fur glistening in the light. He looked up as I approached, his expression one of mild curiosity.

"Hey, Yoongi," I started, feeling a bit nervous. "I wanted to ask you about your habits and any specific needs. I know I should have asked this earlier, but—"

Yoongi’s eyes narrowed playfully as he smirked. "You didn’t know about us? How surprising. We aren’t as common as dragons or werewolves, after all."
