CELIA'S POV
"My next bride to be" Mr Charlie said smiling at me sheepishly and raising his glass for me to fill it with wine, he looked a little tipsy but it was my job to fill for him so I ignored him and filled his glass, his friend as I presume raised his glass towards me to feel, as I stretched my arm to reach his glass I felt another hand creeping into my thighs which sent shock through my body as I panicked and dropped the glass
This noise caught the attention of people close by as they all stared in my direction making me bow my head in shame, I knew these people, they were rich asses, they wouldn't care what had been done to me, I was just a mere servant to them.
Luck being on my side, the wine I spilled was only enough to barely fill two glass, had I broken a full bottle of wine, how would I pay for it, if the hosts ask me to pay
I glared at Mr Charlie in disgust as I walked away towards our stand to get a broom, I returned as fast as I could and cleaned up the mess, so I can get back to work and be productive to earn my pay but I could feel Mr Charlie's eye all over my legs, such a disgusting old fool.
After carefully disposing the broken pieces, I noticed a little part of my uniform had wine spilled on it , luckily it wasn't white, it was black, so I decided to dry it out using the bathroom air dryer, I headed for the bathroom as I was about to open the door a strong pair of hands held my free arm and flung me around and I turned to see Mr Charlie
"Let go of me" I tried retrieving my hand but he tightened his grip
"You think you are too good for me, huh? Why the hell have you rejected my proposal? "
"I don't think, I know that I am too good for you and I will never settle for a fifth wife to a perverted old man like you"
"Your father is owing me $10,000 and You were his collateral. So whether you agree or not I will have this succulent body I see right here and I will make sure to enjoy it to it's fullest my soon to be bride!" he teased pressing his body against mine making me flinch in disgust
"I will pay you your $10,000" I blurted out almost sobbing
He burst out laughing showing his set of yellow teeth as he shifted back a bit much to my relief
"How would you pay back that amount in two weeks?"
"let me have your details and I will have the money wired to you first thing Monday morning"
As if on que, Mr Charlie and I turned our heads to the direction of the voice to see the man from the other night standing a few feet's away from us
"Sir, what are you doing here?" I asked looking shocked. He was looking so smart and handsome, I almost didn't recognize him
"This is my company's party" he said and threw a smile at me
"Oh, I didn't know" I said inaudibly
"So, let me have your Wire details, Mr?" the man from the other night asked, looking sternly at Mr Charlie
"Mr Dolly" he replied eying him angrily
"Ohh, the CEO Dolly Water Company? I think I have seen a contract file between your company and mine, actually I signed it when I was still the director, we get all our water tanks, filters and dispensers from your company, Right? " Mr Handsome asked Charlie
"Yes, you do" Mr Charlie verified with a smile as if his pride would reach the roof
"Well, being the new CEO, I might have to reconsider that contract, I know for a fact that we are your major source of connections and if we pull out, you might lose all the connections you made through us so if I were you I would reconsider my response before I give it, I wouldn't want to work with a pervert" Mr handsome said still looking as serious and hot as hell
"I will forward my wire details to you secretary on Monday"
Mr Charlie responded and gave me a disgusted look and walked away
"Are you okay Miss?"
"Yes sir, thank you for helping me, I promise I will work hard and pay you back"
"Don't bother, it's a thank you for what you did for me two nights ago, especially for not taking advantage of the information you have on me"
"Oh no sir, I am not that kind of person" I looked at his handsomely structured face and smiled sheepishly then it struck me
"Hope you reconciled with your wife sir" I asked
"Yes I did, turns out it was a misunderstanding after all but it has been cleared up thank you for your help"
"Baby! " a beautiful lady dressed in a Red short gown paired with a black stiletto appeared from behind him, she looked like a Goddess, of course he would marry a lady of her caliber not some church rat like me, looking at her I felt so inferior that I bowed my head feeling embarrassed
"I have been looking for you" she said sliding her hands into his arm, probably to let me know that she owned him, then our eyes met and I could see that disgusting look, how different she was from her husband
"Ehhm! Who is she?" she looked me up and down
"Oh, this is.. Ehmm.. " he looked at me, probably realizing he didn't know my name so I smiled at him and said
"Celia Garcia"
"Ohh, Celia, I am Steve Williams and this is my wife Diana Williams"
"Nice to meet you ma'am " I said extending my arm towards his wife in anticipation for a handshake but she just looked at my hand, sighed and faced her husband which made me withdraw my hand and wipe it off on my uniform incase it was dirty by any chance
"Lets go Steve, Your guests are waiting" she rolled her eyes at me and touched Steve's Chest. I took that as my cue to get away from them
"Excuse me sir, if you don't mind I will return to my post. Thank you for earlier" I said as he gave me a cute nod and I walked out
What a snub, how could someone be so different from the husband. Mr Steve seemed rather too kind to be married to this kind of lady, but what do I know, after all my mother ended up with a man like my father. I returned back to my post but often I would feel like someone was watching me then I'd glance over at Mr Steve's table and I would catch him stealing a glance at me, but as soon as our eyes met he would look away, the weird part was I could feel this sensation I couldn't explain in my tummy when our eyes would meet
I decided to take my mind off him and continued my job, after all I was here to make money and cater for my family.
