Act-2 : Cage You

Rain walked inside the dimly lit room. Behind him, Phayu watched him. Like a predator looking at his prey's each movement.

For a second Rain can felt as if he would be attacked any moment now, if he let's his guard down.

"You can keep your belongings at the table." Phayu's voice pierced through the silent room. Rain looked at the neatly organized table, keeping his bag on it.

"I am sorry for this inconvenience." Rain said, smiling apologetically. After that night incident, this is second time he is in debt on the same person.

"It alright! You are my nong. It is my duty to take care of you." Phayu said, his dark eyes strangely sparkling, like a child who have found his favourite toy.

Rain laughed lightly, trying to escape the awkerdness that seems to flood between them. He looks around, Phayu is quite an organised person. A large bookshelves with various topics on architecture and similar interest.

"Do you like reading?" Phayu asked, seeing as the boy's eyes stares at his collection.

Rain looks at Phayu, who have already been out of his black leather jacket. A deep oceanic bluish shirt adorns on Phayu. From a mere eyes, he looks like a sea Prince ready for a war.
"Kind of, I read when I get bored."

Phayu chuckled, and told him to sit on the sofa which Rain smilingly obliged. Handing over a glass of water, he said "Well then, would you read me if I boring you?"

On that shamefully flirt Rain coughed loudly, "Phi!I-What?" He cannot believe, the Greek Prince of his campus is flirting with him blatantly.

If Ple hears this, oh he can imagine her almost fainting.

"Haha, I am merely joking. Nong'Rain." Phayu said while caressing Rain's back. His hands straying a little longer then needed. With how close they are sitting right now, Phayu can almost smell the sweet scent of rose emitting from Rain. How can that be? Phayu never knew that a person can smell this good.

"Umm, Phi- about the car." Rain asked, he can feel Phayu's breath over his neck. Goosebumps feeding all over him. The closeness between them is only bordered by a single string of consciousness.

"Oh.. that- I have send people to look after it. Not a big deal, I assure." Phayu's dark eyes engulfing Rain completely. For sometimes they only stayed like this, looking at each other.

A loud knock woke them up from their slumber towards each other. Rain hurried himself away from Phayu, and Phayu, oh he can only clench his fist.

Saifah, Phayu's fraternal twin, enters the room. He looked at Rain, who only smiled sheepishly, then at his brother, "The car is well done. Just came to tell you, or did i interrupted something?" He said winking at Phayu who only gave him an annoyed look.

"Umm thank you Phi! I should get going then. I will pay later, I don't have cash on me now." Rain said standing up and taking his bag.

"You could stay here for tonight." Payu blurted out, what may have been going on inside his head. He quickly shuts his mouth, Rain looking at him, gaping like fish. While Saifah face fills with a big smile.

"Uh, thank you Phi, but I have to go. My parents must be worrying about me."

Rain quickly walked down the stairs and towards his car. Phi'Phayu is little bit weird. But Rain knows better then to judge people on the basis of appearance.

Phayu watched as Rain's car drove past the gate. He wonders, what if he chained Rain inside a golden cage. Would he still wish to run away? For Phayu, this is first time in his life, that's something have ignited inside of him.

A fire, burning him in a strange desire. He is burning from inside, leaving nothing but a dark ashen heart wishing to be loved. What is wrong and what is right if we have never set foot on that path? Phayu have long since came to term of him being heartless, never to be loved. But this fool who have accidentally come into his life have made him mad over a fickle flame.

He can feels his other self, whispering the cursed words. He wish to devour Rain, to cage Rain to himself. To lock him, to hide him wher noone can look at him again.

"Wooh, Bro? Are you in love or what?" His brother's voice interrupted his thoughts.

Phayu looked at Saifah, his dark eyes lifeless, "Love? Me? I am not meant for love, brother." He spat those words, like a curse to himself.

Love is never for him but he who cannot love have fallen into that darkest pit he have been ignoring this whole time.
