Annisty's POV:
It's almost 1 in the morning and I was in my room braiding my hair because tomorrow is the day that I start my senior year of high school again. Which also means that tomorrow is also the day that the plot officially starts. I know that Stefan is in town, because he saved Elena and I heard people talking about how Zack's nephew came into town when I was in the hair store. I started my hair around 8 and I only need to braid down my ends now for a couple of braids. Kol and Finn were here but Finn disappeared an hour ago and Kol said that the tv show was getting boring so he either went to a prison or went to watch witch do magic.
Even though some witches can feel when he is there and will try to cast him back to the other side, which never works because I can feel it happening and it's like my soul or my magic in general just summons him to me, and the only downside of it would be him being stuck by my side for 2 hours. And ever since I watched a documentary about how someone on death row can be killed, he would go to a prison to watch someone be killed because he says, "it calms his need to torture knowing that a bad person is put down." He typically goes to see child predators, etc..
Since I saw that I had 2-3 braids left, I got up and grabbed the electric kettle that me and grams only use for our hair. I went into my bathroom to plug it up and fill it up. I then went back into my room to finish my last twists, when my body started to feel cold and my vision started to fade.
I opened my eyes to see that I was on the side of the road which was surrounded by trees. I saw a black suv driving down the street towards me and fog started to appear, the suv then swerved onto the side of the road near me before stopping.
A dude stepped out of the driver's side and walked towards the middle of the road where somebody was lying. I couldn't see what happened to him. A blonde girl then stepped out of the suv yelling, "There's no signal! Darren! Darren?" Darren's gone.. which is what I thought to myself watching her look for her boyfriend after he told her to stay in the damn car. A loud thud snapped me out of my thoughts, which was Darren hitting the front of his truck.
His neck was ripped through, which was obviously done by a vampire but the girl didn't know that so when she got one look at him she started to scream. You would have thought that she would check on her boyfriend and call 911, but her fight or flight kicked in, so she started to run while screaming.
She didn't get very far though because she was snatched out of the air by the vampire. She was then dropped on the street and all I could see was that the vampire was masculine-
-I snapped out of the vision and smiled to myself, "Damon's here so the plot is really starting." I then hurried to finish my hair faster so that I could go to sleep and not have an attitude in the morning which is guaranteed to happen due to me not being a morning person at all.
