The breakfast concluded with warm smiles and promises of future family gatherings. As Y/n stood up to leave, her stepfather, Lee Byung-hun, called out for her.
"Y/n, dear, would you like to join me for a talk in evening? There are some important things that I want to discuss with you."
Y/n hesitated, a flicker of apprehension crossing her face. She glanced at her mother, who gave her a reassuring smile.
"Of course, Mr. Lee," she replied, trying to sound confident.
The boys siting at the table did not dare to utter a word as their father had already informed them about what was going to happen next the previous night and warned them so they will not be able to create more drama.
After lunch, Y/n and her mother returned to their hotel to gather their belongings. They had only brought a few essentials, anticipating a short stay. As they packed their bags, Y/n couldn't shake the feeling of nervousness about the upcoming lunch with her mother's boyfriend.
Later that evening, Lee Byung-hun's driver arrived to pick up Y/n. They drove in comfortable silence, the city skyline stretching out before them. Finally, they arrived at a secluded restaurant.
When Y/n's entered the resturant, she saw her soon to be stepfather shaking hands with another man. Probably looked like a business deal. Once they left the area after exchanging a smile and a quick bow.
