To take a lot of pain, take a lot of pain

It is not that Harry treats Louis badly, he treats Louis like the King he is. But Louis knows he is not the only one, he can feel it, he knows it. But he ignores his feelings because he really loves Harry. And Louis knows Harry loves him too. Harry tells him every day, and comes home to him every day.

He knows they both need their own lives, and he gives that to Harry, but every time Harry comes home late, his mind wonders back to the days when they just met, and how Harry behaved back then. Is he still the same, or did he really change for Louis?

All the clues were there but Louis was too blind to see.

Louis is sitting on the couch scrolling through Netflix to find a movie to watch with Harry when he is done in the shower when he hears a 'ding'. It is Harry's phone. Harry always takes his phone with him, and Louis stands up to grab Harry's phone to bring it to him, because maybe it is an important message from Anne or Gemma. As he walks to the phone it dings again. Louis picks up the phone but doesn't look at the messages. When he is walking to the shower the phone dings again, and he sees the screen lite up, and sees the message. His heart skips a beat, that is not a message from Anne or Gemma. It is a message from a number that is not saved in his phone. The message is someone asking Harry to meet again at their Greek restaurant at Grand avenue at one pm tomorrow. The next message that comes in makes Louis blood boil, the message reads that they should find a motel after they had lunch because he apparently can't wait to taste his big eggplant emoji. Louis is so angry, but he puts the phone back and pretends he didn't see the messages. He walks back to the couch and scrolls through the movies, not really seeing what he is doing. "Did you find a movie to watch?" Harry asks as he comes out of the shower. He grabs his phone and looks at the screen and then at Louis. Louis tries to keep a straight face, and says. "You left your phone somewhere here, I heard it, but I was to lazy to bring you, sorry honey." "It is okay babe, it is just a few messages from Gemma, nothing important." Harry says. He smiles at his phone and types a message back. Louis claps his hands and says, "phones away, I found a movie to watch!" Harry sits next to Louis on the couch and snuggles closer to Louis. "Hey," Louis wonders "you want to have lunch together tomorrow?" "I got a meeting close to your work so we can meet up and have lunch together." "Oh, I'm sorry babe, I have a lunch meeting at one, rain check?" Harry says. "Yeah it's okay, some other time we'll have lunch together." And Louis knows exactly where Harry will be tomorrow at one. And he will be there too.

Louis knows where Harry will be. And it hurts, like a lot. But he has to confront Harry, he can not let this all get out of hand. So he pick up his things, and is off to the restaurant. He doesn't want to arrive to early, when nothing has happened but he also doesn't want to arrive too late, to find that they have left to some sleazy motel to fuck or something. Louis gets angry when he thinks about it.
When he arrives at the restaurant he feels his heartbeat pick up. He can see Harry through the window of the restaurant. Louis decides to wait a little outside on the sidewalk, he has a perfect view on Harry and Harry can't see him. He sees Harry smiling and talking with the other guy. Then he sees the guy reach over the table to grab Harry's hand and leaning in. Louis has a split second to react, he opens the door of the restaurant and walks over to the table where Harry is sitting. Just as Harry's lips connect with the other guy's lips Louis reaches them. He is in a public place so he has to hold back all his anger, but he is fuming. "Well, I didn't expect to see you here Harry, especially with your tongue down somebody's throat that isn't me." Louis says. If it would have been any other situation Louis would have laughed at Harry, his face only shows fear and guilt. Harry flies back in his chair, his back stiff against the backrest, trying to create as much distance between him and his fling. Harry still hasn't spoken a word, and can only look at Louis with big fearful eyes and his mouth open. "You don't have to say anything to me Harry, what I saw here was pretty self-explanatory. I hope it was worth it Harry." "I am going home, and if I were you, if you ever want to speak to me again, I advise you to not barge in much later than me." "If you arrive at an acceptable time, I will maybe give you a chance to explain your situation with this Ogre." And with that Louis starts to walk away. He is going straight home, he really hopes Harry is smart enough to follow him, but he doesn't look back to see if he actually does.
Louis is still raging with anger, but now at home the hurt and sadness kick in. Why would Harry do that? After what feels like ten seconds he hears the key in the lock and Harry barges in the house. Harry is crying and tries to hug Louis.
But Louis holds out his arms so Harry can't hug him, and says, "Explain."
Harry start talking and explaining and Louis listens to his story, he lets Harry talk, and after Harry is done Louis starts talking. "It is really breaking my heart, Harry!" Louis cries, "Can't you see how much this is hurting me?" "When you act like this, you act like I don't matter to you." "I am giving you all my trust and love, and all you do is make fun of it." Louis whispers. "No, no, no, baby, I love you, you are my live, I am so sorry." Harry says. "I promise, it will never happen again, I will delete and block the number, I only love you, and I only want you. It was a mistake, he kept pushing to see me, I really didn't want it, I really only want you!"

And Louis wants to believe and trust Harry, but if it is the right thing to do is still a question that spins through Louis' mind.
