characters: 

- Onyx (she/they): The lead singer of a band. She is bi and trans and is super goth, really short, and has a haunting singing voice. She is using the tips and pay from the band to start hormone therapy. She is in a poly relationship with Lilith and Felix. 22 y/o, she dropped out of college to pursue her music career. 

- Lilith (she/ her): medium height, with a new hair color every week. She is pansexual and currently works as a stripper in a club that Onyx and the band perform at, which is how they met. 21 y/o, in college. 

- Felix (he/they): total golden retriever, he always has a smile on his face. People wonder how he got in a relationship with the other two, because they seem so different. He is studying creative writing, and often helps Onyx write lyrics. He doesn't use labels to desribe himself. He has an over 500 day duolingo streak that he would sell his soul for. 21 y/o, in college. 

secondary characters: 

- Ava (she/her): bisexual, dating Theo. 22 y/o, graduated trade school and works at a mechanic shop. She is the drummer in the band with Onyx and Sasha. 

- Theo (he/him): bisexual and trans, dating Ava. 22 y/o, graduated college and works as a personal trainer. 

- Jed (he/him): gay, dating Jack. They met through a mutual hookup. 21 y/o, in college. He is the bass guitarist in the band with Onyx and Sasha. 

- Jack (they/them): achillean, dating Jed. 21 y/o, in college, and currently working at a coffee shop near campus. 

- Tiara (she/her): owns the bar that the band is playing at. She lives in an apartment upstairs.

Onyx's POV

"Sash and Val aren't gonna be at the party," I say, "Val isn't feeling well, she had too much to drink." 

"Weird, I don't think I saw her take more than five sips of her drink," Lilith, my girlfriend, said. 

I shrugged, "Let's not worry about it. I just want to party!" 

We walked into the back room, where the rest of the band, their partners, and the bar staff were. Felix, my other partner, was sitting in the corner, frantically doing his duolingo. It was almost midnight. 

"Je dois y aller?" Felix said uncertainly into his phone, which dinged back at him. 

Lilith and I looked at each other and giggled. "I'm not sure why you're laughing, my 590 day streak is very impressive," said Felix. 

I crossed the room and kissed them on the cheek. "Of course, but you could have done it before the concert. You knew it would be this late." They sighed, "I know, but I forgot." 

Lilith and I joined the group of people sitting and drinking, including the rest of the band, Ava, our drummer, her boyfriend Theo, Jed, our bassist, and his partner, Jack. Felix came over too. I poured the three of us shots, which we quickly downed. I hissed at the nasty taste of the vodka. 

Ava came over to us and handed us all solo cups, "The bar wants to get rid of this cheap liquor, so we have four bottles to finish tonight." 

We sat around, talking about nothing, listening to bad house music, and getting incredibly drunk. 

Around 2 am, Ava and Theo, who had been making out almost the whole time, left to find a hotel close by, probably to fuck. 

Soon after I figured that we should probably leave, but as soon as I stood up, I knew I wasn't going anywhere. Felix laughed and caught me as I swayed and fell over.
