Y/N waited anxiously for Taehyung to return, her mind racing with possibilities. Who was the mysterious person at the door? And what did they want to discuss with Taehyung?

After what felt like an eternity, Taehyung returned, his expression grim. "Y/N, I have to tell you something," he said, his voice low and serious.

Y/N's heart skipped a beat. "What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Taehyung hesitated, his eyes scanning the room as if searching for an escape route. "It's about my past," he said finally. "I haven't been entirely honest with you."

Y/N's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice firm.

Taehyung took a deep breath. "I used to work with Jungkook," he said. "We were partners, in a way. But I realized what he was doing was wrong, and I tried to leave."

Y/N's eyes widened. "What did Jungkook do to you?" she asked, her voice full of concern.

Taehyung's expression turned dark. "He betrayed me," he said. "He used me for his own gain, and then he tried to destroy me. But I managed to escape, and I've been hiding ever since."

Y/N's heart went out to Taehyung. She couldn't imagine what he must have gone through.

But as she looked into his eyes, she saw something there that gave her pause. Something that made her wonder if Taehyung was telling her the whole truth.

"Why are you telling me this now?" she asked, her voice cautious.

Taehyung's gaze faltered, and for a moment, Y/N thought she saw a glimmer of fear in his eyes.

"I'm telling you because I want you to trust me," he said finally. "I want you to know that I'm on your side, Y/N. I'll do whatever it takes to protect you from Jungkook."

Y/N nodded, trying to process everything. She wanted to believe Taehyung, she really did. But a part of her was still unsure.

And then, just as she was about to respond, a loud crash echoed from outside the room.

Y/N's heart skipped a beat as she heard the crash. "What was that?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.

Taehyung's expression turned grim. "I'll go check," he said, his eyes scanning the room as if searching for potential threats.

As he left the room, Y/N couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. She tried to calm herself down, telling herself it was just her imagination playing tricks on her.

But when Taehyung returned, his face was pale. "Y/N, we have to leave," he said, his voice urgent. "Now."

Y/N's heart racing, she followed Taehyung out of the room. They moved swiftly through the corridors, Taehyung leading the way.

As they reached the exit, Y/N saw a figure lurking in the shadows. Jungkook.

"Run," Taehyung whispered, his hand on her back.

Y/N didn't need to be told twice. She sprinted out of the building, Taehyung by her side.

But as they emerged into the bright sunlight, Y/N realized they were surrounded. Jungkook's associates closed in on them, their eyes cold and menacing.

Taehyung pushed Y/N behind him, his eyes flashing with determination. "I won't let them hurt you," he growled.

But Y/N knew they were outnumbered. And she wondered if Taehyung's protection would be enough to save her.
