**In The CITY STREETS At NIGHT**
*The episode opens with a wide shot of the city at night, bustling with activity. The camera zooms in on a discreet, upscale bar tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.*
**At an UPSCALE BAR - NIGHT**
*Inside the bar, the atmosphere is dimly lit and intimate. **LUCAS** sits alone at the bar, nursing a drink. He's dressed casually, but his sharp eyes scan the room, always alert.*
*As Lucas takes a sip, the door opens, and **EVA** walks in. She's dressed elegantly, exuding confidence. She notices Lucas instantly, their eyes meeting across the room.*
*Lucas smirks slightly, surprised but intrigued. Eva saunters over, sliding onto the barstool next to him.*
**EVA**
(dryly)
Didn't expect to see you here.**LUCAS**
(smirking)
I could say the same.*The bartender approaches, and Eva orders a drink. They sit in silence for a moment, the tension between them palpable.*
**EVA**
(softly)
So, is this a coincidence, or are you following me?**LUCAS**
(leaning in slightly)
Depends. Should I be?*Eva laughs softly, shaking her head.*
**EVA**
(smirking)
You'd never catch me.*Lucas raises an eyebrow, leaning in closer.*
**LUCAS**
(quietly)
Maybe I'm not trying to.*The flirtation lingers between them, unspoken but undeniable. They hold each other's gaze, the air thick with unresolved tension.*

#### **ACT 2**
*On the ROOFTOP - NIGHT**
*Later that night, Lucas and Eva stand on a rooftop overlooking the city. The wind blows gently, and the city lights twinkle below them. They're both slightly buzzed from the drinks, more relaxed than usual.*
*Eva leans against the railing, looking out at the skyline.*
**EVA**
(softly)
This life... it's all we know, isn't it?**LUCAS**
(sighing)
Sometimes I wonder if there's anything else.*Eva glances at him, her expression softening.*
**EVA**
And what if there isn't? What if this is all we get?*Lucas moves closer to her, his voice low and serious.*
**LUCAS**
Then we make the most of it.*Eva turns to face him, their proximity drawing them closer together. She studies his face, as if searching for something.*
**EVA**
(whispering)
What are you really after, Lucas?*Lucas hesitates for a moment, then gently cups her face with one hand.*
**LUCAS**
(softly)
Right now? Just this.*There's a beat of silence before they both lean in, their lips meeting in a slow, passionate kiss. It's intense, yet tender, as if they're both acknowledging the fleeting nature of their connection.*
*As they pull away, they remain close, foreheads touching. The world around them feels distant, like they're the only two people that exist in this moment.*
**EVA**
(barely audible)
This doesn't change anything.**LUCAS**
(whispering back)
No... but it doesn't have to.*They share a small, bittersweet smile before Eva steps back, breaking the moment. She turns away, regaining her composure.*

#### **ACT 3**
**At the ABANDONED FACTORY -**
*The scene shifts to an old, abandoned factory on the outskirts of the city. Lucas and Eva have tracked down a new target, **VASILI**, a notorious arms dealer. The factory is filled with crates and machinery, providing plenty of cover.*
*Lucas and Eva move in sync, clearing the area with practiced precision. Their earlier connection still lingers, evident in the way they effortlessly work together.*
**EVA**
(quietly)
We're getting close.*They hear voices up ahead and duck behind a stack of crates. Vasili is in the center of the room, flanked by armed guards. He's talking on the phone, oblivious to their presence.*
**VASILI**
(into the phone)
I'll have the shipment ready by tomorrow. Make sure the money's in my account.*Eva and Lucas exchange a quick glance, silently communicating their plan. They move into position, ready to strike.*
*Eva silently takes down one of the guards with a knife, while Lucas uses a silenced pistol to eliminate another. They inch closer to Vasili, but just as they're about to move in for the kill, a group of additional guards bursts into the room.*
**GUARD LEADER**
(shouting)
They're here! Take them out!---
#### **ACT 4**
**Still at the ABANDONED FACTORY - CONTINUOUS**
*A fierce firefight erupts, bullets flying as Lucas and Eva are forced to take cover. They return fire, working together seamlessly despite the danger.*
**LUCAS**
(shouting over the gunfire)
We need to take him down before he escapes!**EVA**
(shouting back)
I'll cover you—go!*Lucas nods, and Eva steps out from cover, providing suppressive fire. Lucas makes a dash for Vasili, weaving through the chaos.*
*Vasili, realizing the threat, starts to flee toward a side exit. Lucas is hot on his heels, determined to finish the job.*
*Eva continues to hold off the guards, but she's quickly overwhelmed. She grits her teeth, taking down another guard, but more keeps coming.*
**EVA**
(urgently)
Lucas, hurry up!---
#### **ACT 5**
**At the FACTORY BACK ALLEY - NIGHT**

*Vasili's car speeds away into the night, leaving Lucas frustrated but undeterred.*
*Eva stumbles out of the factory, slightly battered but alive. She looks around, spotting Lucas as he lowers his gun.*
**EVA**
(out of breath)
Did you get him?**LUCAS**
(shaking his head)
No. But he won't get far.*Eva leans against the wall, catching her breath. Lucas walks over, checking her for injuries.*
**EVA**
(half-smiling)
I'm fine. Just a few bruises.**LUCAS**
(grinning)
You still owe me a drink.*Eva raises an eyebrow, playfully pushing him away.*
**EVA**
Don't get used to it.*Lucas laughs softly, the tension between them easing into something more comfortable, yet still charged with unspoken feelings.*

#### **ACT 6**
**At EVA'S APARTMENT - NIGHT**
*Later that night, they arrive at Eva's apartment. It's modern and stylish, with a view of the city. Eva sets down her gear, glancing at Lucas.*
**EVA**
So, how about that drink?*Lucas smiles, moving to pour them both a glass of whiskey. They clink glasses and take a sip, the silence between them comfortable, but heavy with the weight of their shared experiences.*
**EVA**
(softly)
Tonight... it felt different.**LUCAS**
(serious)
It was.*They look at each other, the connection between them is undeniable. But just as the moment deepens, Eva's phone buzzes on the table, breaking the spell.*
*She picks it up, glancing at the message. Her expression hardens, and she quickly puts the phone down.*
**LUCAS**
(seeing her change)
What is it?**EVA**
(steeling herself)
Work. Another job.*Lucas nods, understanding but disappointed. He takes a step back, respecting her space.*
**LUCAS**
Then I guess this is goodnight.*Eva watches him for a moment, conflicted. But instead of responding, she steps forward and kisses him again, this time more urgently, as if trying to hold onto something fleeting.*
*When they finally pull apart, she rests her forehead against his, breathing deeply.*
**EVA**
(whispering)
Goodnight, Lucas.*Lucas smiles softly, brushing a strand of hair from her face.*
**LUCAS**
Goodnight, Eva.*He turns and leaves, the door closing softly behind him. Eva stands there for a moment, staring at the door, then sighs deeply, the weight of their complicated relationship settling over her.*
