03. The New Girl

Principal said, “Introducing you to Sarah Kang, the daughter of the famous businessman Min-jae Kang.”

“Damn she's beautiful” Every single student thought this in their mind. 

“Sarah, Go and sit near Jimin.” Said the principal to Sarah 

“And later during free period, Jimin and Y/N both of you will help Sarah with notes and stuff”

The Principal said and left the class

“Hey I'm Sarah. Nice to meet you.” Sarah spoke shyly 

“Nice to meet you too. I'm Jimin, Park Jimin.” Jimin spoke in a charming tone 

Seeing Sarah and Jimin interact Y/N felt something inside her chest.. A feeling that she couldn't explain. She felt uneasy and uncomfortable seeing Jimin with her. 

Mina smirked and nudged Y/N and said “Is that making you jealous? Seeing your boy interact with another girl?”

“Oh please shut up I'm not jealous I was just seeing how the new girl's behaviour is and she seems sweet and stop calling Jimin my boy.” Minji spoke with her tone neutral. 

“Suuuuureeeeeee” Mina spoke with her teasing tone but Y/N rolled her eyes and ignored her. 

Although Sarah felt like a beautiful and sweet girl, Y/N couldn't help but feel something eerie and odd about her. She felt like something bad was going to happen soon.. Very soon. But she brushed off those thoughts as soon as the bell rang for lunch break. 

Y/N went towards Sarah

“Hey Sarah, I'm Y/N, Jeon Y/N Nice to Meet You!” Y/N spoke in a cheerful tone 

“Oh hello Y/N Nice to Meet you too, I hope we can become friends” Sarah spoke in a sweet voice. 

“Sure I'd love to be your friend Sarah, anyways do you want to have lunch with me and my best friend Mina?” Y/N asked her. 

“Oh thank you for the invitation. I'd love to have lunch with you and your friend.” Sarah smiled warmly at her. 

Sarah went towards the cafeteria with Y/N and Mina to have lunch. During lunch time three of them talked about each other sharing their own stories from childhood till now. And surprisingly three of them got really close with each other. As the lunch break ended every student went to their respective classes. Since Jimin and Y/N had free periods, they took Sarah to the library to help her with previous studies and notes. This time Jimin and Sarah bonded well. Sarah was a sweet girl so she bonded with everyone easily.. She became Jimin and Y/N's mutual friend. Although Y/N felt something weird about Sarah she still kept it within herself. And we can't forget that she was feeling jealous seeing Jimin and Sarah together but her ego and pride was too much for her to accept that she was jealous. 

*time skips*

After school, Jimin and Y/N were assigned as project partners so Jimin took her to his house to complete the project. As Y/N had been to his house before, she didn't feel nervous or shy. She greeted his mother and went upstairs to his bedroom. 

( yes, we are adding little romance here) 

“I can't understand how your mother is such a beautiful angel and here you are an annoying jerk.” Y/N spoke in irritated tone

“I'd like to say the same for you sweetheart, your mom is such a kind and gentle lady while you behave like a witch.” Jimin says in a teasing tone to rile her up. 

Y/N rolled her eyes and said “Enough with all these shits let's start our project plan shall we?”

Jimin nodded and both of them started discussing their project, the materials needed and how to complete it as soon as possible. Although they are rivals, they cooperate with each other really well, both of them are great as a team. Both of them can't deny the spark they felt whenever they were alone with each other but their rivalry always makes them deny the truth.
