Jeongguk stomped into the gym, the smell of sweat and metal hitting him hard. It was 9:30 PM, his usual time to hit the weights and clear his head. Tonight, though, his mind was stuck on V. He grabbed some dumbbells, the cold steel biting into his hands as he started lifting.

"Why the fuck can’t I get him outta my head?" Jeongguk grunted, straining with each rep. It wasn’t just the texts; it was the thrill, that rush he got whenever V messaged him. It was like a high he couldn’t kick.

He shook his head, trying to push the thoughts aside. "C’mon, focus," he muttered, adding more weight. He hoped the physical pain would drown out the mental one. But even as he pushed through another set, his mind kept flashing back to V—the way V talked, how he made Jeongguk feel.

Switching to bench press, Jeongguk loaded up the barbell, determined to lose himself in the workout. He lay back, gripping the bar, but all he could think about was V. The easy way they vibed, the late-night conversations, how it got under his skin like nothing else. Not even Shezam.

"Fuckin' hell, Jeongguk," he cursed under his breath, pushing the bar up. His muscles screamed, but his thoughts were louder. Shezam was supposed to be his focus. But here he was, alone in the gym, mind stuck on some online guy.

He racked the bar and sat up, wiping sweat from his face. "This is fucked up," he said, grabbing his water bottle. But no matter what he did, he couldn’t shake V from his head.

Leaning back on the bench, sweat glistening on his chest, Jeongguk’s thoughts drifted to last night. How Shezam had clung to him, breathless and needy, their bodies colliding in the most intense way.

"Fuck, that was hot," Jeongguk muttered, the memory sparking a fire in his veins. He could almost feel Shezam’s hands on him again, nails digging in, lips on his neck, whispering his name like he was everything. The way Shezam moaned, desperate, had driven Jeongguk wild, and just thinking about it made his heart race.

He tried to focus on that—on how they’d been all over each other, the heat, the sweat, how they moved together. It should’ve kept him grounded, but it wasn’t sticking.

"Shit," he groaned, dropping the towel and running a hand through his damp hair. He wanted to relive that night, let it consume him, but something was off. Even the dirtiest memories of their time together couldn’t fully distract him.

Pacing a bit, Jeongguk tried to shake off the frustration. He should’ve been buzzing with the memory, ready to go again. But something was creeping in, not letting him fully lose himself in Shezam’s memory.

"Get it together, Jeongguk," he hissed, trying to focus on how Shezam’s voice had hitched when he’d touched him just right. But no matter how hard he tried, the memory was slipping.
