Y/N POV
hauling our kids abroad to the olympics was hard enough as it is. but not seeing atsumu for the whole day was harder. of course, atsumu had the twin gene, and we were blessed with two twin boys and a lovely girl.
"cmon kids! we have to go so we can watch daddy play" i ushered them to sit down to put on their shoes. "boys put on your shoes, i gotta help your sister"
after everyone had their shoes and mini backpacks, containing snacks and water bottles, we all made our way to the village.
i put ami in the stroller, and told the two boys to hold onto the handles on each side. taking care of three kids while your husband was busy training, was not easy.
"hey y/n, you heading to the stadium?" osamu asked, jogging up to me. "hey girl" hana said, linking her arm through mine. "uncle samu!" the two boys screamed. "hey boys, you excited to see yer dad play?" he asked. all of us were wearing our matching jerseys that had "miya" written on the back.
as we got to the stadium, we took our front row seats, and i got the kids settled in with their snacks. "no ipads until the game is finished okay?" i said to the three kids, who were munching on their snacks. "yes mommy" they said in unison.
the game started and it was the most intense game ive ever seen atsumu play. this was the finals so whoever won this game could be going home with silver or gold.
"mama! it's daddy!" ami exclaimed from osamus lap. "mama i wanna be like daddy" haru said. "you should ask him to teach you how to play then" i smiled.
japan had won two, and argentina had won two. meaning whoever won this last set, would be victorious.
the score right now was 26-25 us, meaning one more point and we would win. right now it was sunas turn to serve. the ball went over and argentinas libero received, oikawa then set it and their hitter hit it.
however, the two middle blockers on our team successfully blocked the ball, making it go down on the other teams court. the final whistle blew, signifying team japans gold medal.
atsumu came running to be as i yelled in excitement. "you did it!" i said, as he hugged me. paparazzi were taking pictures of us, but i didn't care. all that mattered was him. he gave me a kiss and then hugged our kids. "thanks for comin kiddos" he picked up ami, and ruffled the kids heads. "they can't hear you with the noise cancelling headphones" i pointed to the big headphones on their ears.
since the stadium was so loud, we had bought the kids noise cancelling headphones so their ears wouldn't get damaged.
"atsumu! we gotta get ready for the medal ceremony" kageyama yelled out. "hi kags!" i waved at him. he waved back and atsumu gave me another quick kiss before running away. "ugh guys i'm so excited right now, i didn't think the olympics could be this exciting" keiko said.
"rin looked so good too, gosh i wanna have his kids" she gushed. hana and i laughed.
after the ceremony, atsumu insisted on taking our three kids to the press conference.
athletes taking their kids to press conferences was becoming more popular. but taking three kids with them? well that was a struggle in itself.
"miya! miya!" numerous journalists and reporters yelled out, trying to get his attention. atsumu was currently struggling to fit all three of our kids on his lap. i laughed at the sight, as he shifted around on the uncomfortable plastic chair.
his hair was a mess, and he was oddly concentrated on making sure our kids could fit on his lap. but he was still the handsome boy i fell in love with back in university.
he finally got them settled down with the twins sitting on each leg, and ami clinging onto his neck while standing. "gosh aren't these kids a handful" he muttered, making everyone in the room laugh.
"miya! what're your thoughts on oikawas playing today?" a reporter asked. "oikawa is a respectable opponent, however, he was slacking more than usual today" he bounced his leg up and down to keep the kids settled.
"oikawa was bein a slacker today wasn't he, ami?" his words almost sounded affectionate, even though he was insulting another player.
ami giggled and nodded her head, taking all of the attention off of atsumu and onto her.
"you have a beautiful daughter there miya! will your kids follow in your footsteps?" another reporter asked. "she gets it from her mama. i don't know though, if they wanna play volleyball i ain't stoppin em" he shrugged his shoulders.
after the rest of the team answered some usual post game questions, we all made our way back to the hotel. atsumu and i had put hana and osamu on baby sitting duty while atsumu and i spent the rest of the night together.
"good job on gold today" i hooked my finger around the strap that the medal was attached to. "thanks for comin today, sweetheart" he said, attaching his lips to my neck, and placing small kisses.
"wanna make another one?"
i don't think i could handle a fourth kid.
