Let Yourself Go

Chapter Five

---

I woke up and realised (pretty quickly) that I'd fallen asleep on the sofa. I groaned and tried to move, so I could get up; but I quickly realised I couldn't. There was an arm draped over me. I opened my eyes and noticed that what I thought was a pillow from the sofa is actually a body.

I lifted my head up more and saw blonde hair with brown roots up in a quiff. I know that hair! Niall.

"Oh my God! Niall." I whispered.

"No. Shush. I'm hungry and tired. Be quiet." His voice mumbled, muffled by the arm pressed into his face - the other is around me.

"Niall, what time is it?" I tried again.

"Too early."

"Niall." I spoke again, prodding him in the side. "Wake up."

"Why?" He whined moving his arm so he could look at me. "Fuck, I'm sorry." He moved his arm back.

"I know I just woke up, but I don't think I look that bad." I told him frowning; I was slightly offended. Niall removed his arm again and smiled, shaking his head.

"I meant that I don't know the time and Basil is probably worried." I nodded in understanding but neither of us moved to get a phone. I was still lying on top of him and Niall was still hugging me to him. "What is the time though?" He asked after a few moments of the comfortable silence.

"I'm not sure, my phone is on the coffee table and I'm ... well, I'm not. I'm here." I finished lamely pointing at him.

"Oh." Niall said silently but still didn't move. Not that I was in any rush either - Niall is the most comfy human in the world, I wiggled for a second; moving closer to the warm body next to me and in return Niall hugged me closer. "My phone is in my pocket, if you can get it."

"I'll try." I moved my arm and found his pocket, pulling the phone out pretty easily. I handed it over and Niall just sighed. It didn't sound happy or sad.

"It's only half three." He told me, "I've only been asleep for about forty minutes. You a bit longer but not for too much longer." Niall moved his arm from around me and got my phone from the small table in front of us, passing it to me before putting his arm back.

I smiled inwardly and checked my phone. I hadn't unlocked it yet but I placed my head back on Niall and closed my eyes. Opening them suddenly a few moments later. I quickly unlocked my phone with my new pin password. It was easy to guess but I wasn't bothered too much.

I had a message from my mum asking about foods, which I took a screenshot of and sent to Liam, Louis and Niall via Twitter - Niall had followed me at some point.

"Did you just send me a DM on Twitter? Instead of asking me a question?" Niall asked amused as he looked at the phone in his hands.

"Yeah. I need to know what food you guys want. If that list is okay with you guys then yeah, if not let me know and my mum is fine to find something else." Niall smiled at me then took my phone. I frowned and stared at him while he pressed the touch screen keyboard and pressed buttons. "What're you doing?" I asked after a minute.

"Putting my number in your phone. Can't have you going without it now, can I?"

I heard Niall's phone go off a moment later and he handed me my phone back. I clicked on messages and saw that my last sent message was to 'Niall xx'.

"That's what you saved your name as?" I asked amused. Niall blushed but nodded, nonetheless. "Well I'm naming me then." Niall passed me his phone without a word and I clicked on the save contact button. He tried to look over my shoulder but I turned his head away and tilted the phone slightly.

"You done yet?" He asked, I shook my head no and finished off my name. 'Callie <3'

"Now I'm done." I handed it back and saw a small smile appear on his face before he removed it and looked over at me.

"Why the heart?" He questioned.

"Why the two x's?" I shot back. Niall just smiled and typed on his phone.

After a few seconds, my phone chimed and I looked at Niall before looking back at my phone, rolling my eyes.

Niall xx

"Two x's because I felt like you needed to have them there x"

"Why didn't you just say that out loud?" I spoke, laughing lightly.

"I wanted to text you so I made sure I wrote the number right."

"Right," I said, drawing out the i. "Have you told Basil that your still here?"

"Yeah, he said I only have until five - then I need to be back at the studio because I'm going to be away for a few days."

"How?" I asked, I still felt really tired.

"Well, you've got us tomorrow."

"Not all day though," I spoke, confused.

"No, I'm not going to the studio in the morning though. Then on Saturday I'm over yours. What time are you planning on having us head out anyway? Liam was wondering but considering I was going to see you, he told me to ask."

"Food is served at twelve, on the dot. But my mum likes us to be there early. So if we aim to leave at eleven?" I asked.

"From where?"

"Here?"

"That's fine. How far is it?"

"Ten minute car journey at that time on a Saturday. I'll be staying the night so you guys are free to leave at any time."

"How long, would you suggest that, we stay?" I swallowed, we seemed to be getting closer if that was possible.

"Well, that's really up to you guys. My mum will try to get you all to stay the night. But -"

"I'll probably stay if food is involved." Niall cut in, I laughed at his remark and sighed.

"You guys don't have to. Plus you'll all be in one room and that's just unfair."

"We wouldn't mind. We usually share rooms anyway. Not normally the three of us, it depends on who organised the fucking tour and hotels over who we sleep in a room with. A lot of the time, we sleep on the tour bus anyway and then we have hardly any personal space so we're used to sharing. We don't mind it a lot of the time."

"But you do sometimes? I can ask Newt or Leo if they can stay at my dads so one of you can have a room to yourselves?"

"Honestly, it's fine." Niall cut me off again, shushing me silently.

"Are you sure because there are only two beds and - mmf." I couldn't continue because there was suddenly a hand over my mouth.

"It's fine. If we need to, then two of us can share a bed." Niall removed his hand.

"We have a spare mattress that you guys can use, if you decide to stay over." I told him after thinking about it. "It stays under my bed normally, but we can move it into the spare room."

"I'll have to ask the other two though, because I don't know what Louis is doing on the Sunday. Liam is free I know that. Oh, I was told to give you their numbers because it's really hard for them to find your DM's in the millions of others they get each day. Pass me your phone."

"Sure." I handed the phone over, after unlocking it quickly.

Niall continued clicking on my phone and handed it back over after a minute of me hearing the annoying tapping noise, I really need to turn off that keyboard tap noise.

"All you have to do is text them and I'll text them your number so they know it definitely is you."

"That's a lot of effort." I mumbled before scrolling through my contacts to find the two new ones. "What did you save them under? I have one name under L and it's my friend Luke's name."

"Oh, I saved Liam as 'Payne. Liam' and Louis as 'Tommo'." I furrowed my eyebrows confused for a second.

"Why?" I questioned finding Liam's number.

"That's what I have them saved as in my phone, so I automatically wrote them as that, sorry. It's just what I write them as." I smiled, and hugged him more.

"It's fine, but I'm going to change them to their first names, so that I don't get confused. Alright?" I asked, Niall nodded, smiling away, as I changed Liam's name to 'Liam' and then I changed Louis' name to 'Louis' before loosening my hold on Niall slightly.

---

"I would take you to Nando's but, the press always hang around the Nando's in London when I'm here. However, I could - yes." Niall never finished his sentence, and he jumped off my kitchen counter and picked up his phone from his pocket. I finished making the hot chocolates when he jumped back up onto the counter next to me. "What do you want from Nando's?" Niall asked as he took his hot chocolate.

"Churrasco Thigh Burger, with a side of chips please, that should be around nine pounds. Let me go get my mon-"

"I have a black card, no need for you to pay." Niall typed something into his phone again and then looked back at me, sipping his drink.

"I feel bad though."

"Don't," Niall simply told me. "Plus, you're having three of us round for lunch tomorrow, so there, you've paid me for it."

I rolled my eyes and sipped from my mug. As I was drinking my eye caught the clock, which told me that it was nearly a quarter past five. "Weren't you meant to leave at five?" I asked Niall.

"Yes, but I'm getting you a Nando's so as soon as we've finished eating I'm going to go back to the studio, and I can let you go back to your work in peace." I'd done some work earlier, but not enough, I sort of regret agreeing with Niall. But, then when I remember it's my fault anyway, I stop regretting it. I chose to take off the whole day and not just my lunch break.

"Right, okay." I paused. "How long should they be?"

"Five minutes, max. Or that's what I think Basil was on about, either they'll be here in five minutes or they'll leave there in five minutes."

---

Okay, that's it for this chapter. I know it's shorter than normal and I'm sorry but I was away for a week and a half so I never had the chance to write it. Sorry.
