Two days had passed, Jungwon had fully recovered and was back at school.

However, one person is missing school these days. He was afraid to face Jungwon, not because he was afraid of getting hurt by him, but because he was overwhelmed with guilt.

Even though his father and best friend tried their best to make him understand that it was just an accident, he can't help but blame himself for it.

His father was worried about his studies but didn’t force him to go to school. He is letting his son to take his time.

Sunoo's absence didn’t go unnoticed by Jungwon. In fact, he was even glad that he didn’t have to see the boy’s annoying face these days. He hoped it would stay this way every day. He wished to never see him again; it was peaceful for him like this.

However, his peace was soon interrupted by none other than the boy’s best friend, Shim Jake.

"Jungwon!" Jake called out to the boy who was about to head to his football practice. But Jungwon, being Jungwon, of course didn’t respond.

Jake rolled his eyes in annoyance; he expected this from the younger boy.

So, he walked over to him and grabbed his arm to stop him.

''Yah! When someone is calling you then you should respond to them. Don't you know that?'' Jake asked him.

Jungwon turned to face him and scoffed. "And what if I don't want to respond to them?" he asked.

"You..." Jake wanted to curse so badly but held himself back. "This is not the time to get mad, Jake. Remember, you're doing this for Sunoo," he reminded himself, taking a deep breath to calm down.

''Okay, look Jungwon, I just want to ask a favour from you. So can you just listen to me for a second?'' Jake said calmly.

"Where's the please?" Jungwon said, a smirk appearing on his face.

This boy really likes to test his patience. Though he’d love to wipe that smirk off his face, he couldn’t, because his best friend is more important right now. He has to control his anger.

"Please, Jungwon-shii, can you listen to me for a second?" Jake pleaded, forcing out a smile.

"Now, now, what could be the favour that the almighty Shim Jake wants from me?" Jungwon mocked.

Should he just punch him in the face? Jake was seriously rethinking his decision to talk to Jungwon. But for Sunoo, he has to do it.

"Okay, listen, I know I shouldn't interfere in this matter, and I understand your resentment towards Sunoo. But..."

"Look, hyung, if you want to talk about Kim Sunoo, then let me tell you, you're just wasting both of our time. If you have nothing else to talk about, then I'm leaving now," Jungwon said, cutting Jake off before he could finish.

"Please, Jungwon, just listen to me this once..."

Jake couldn’t finish his sentence as Jungwon turned on his heels and started heading for his football practice.

But Jake was also stubborn. He grabbed Jungwon’s arm, not letting him leave without hearing him out.

"What do you think you're doing, hyung? Let go of my hand," Jungwon said in an annoyed tone.

"No! I won't let you go until you hear me out," Jake replied.

Jungwon huffed and tried to free his arm from Jake's grip.
