12. Your shyness toward me :P.

29. How like-able you are.

Alex got up with her normal routine, smashing the alarm clock, brushing her hair and teeth, etc. She closed down the laptop which she had open after checking the messages, smiling a little at the message open at the bottom of the screen before heading off to school.

Alex couldn't wait until English class. She wanted to talk to Ben again.

Finally, after the teacher was done with her lesson for the day, she let everyone get on the laptops to talk with their penpals. The room buzzed with excitement yet again while every was getting their laptops. Alex walked up to the crowd.

Suddenly, a couple guys shoved past, pushing her back and out of the way. More people came in, filling the gap she had left and pushing her to the back of the crowd. She glimpsed a couple girls trailing behind the guys, holding onto their hands. She could've sworn they were smiling.

Finally, everyone got their laptops and Alex sat down at her seat. The guy next to her sighed. Alex looked over to him. His name was John. John looked up to Alex, his long bangs hanging just barely above his eyes. "Something wrong?" Alex asked as she started up her laptop.

"My penpal's an idiot." John said, typing at his computer. "I swear I'm not going to get through the rest of the year if I'm going to have to talk with him and write reports about him." He was referring to the reports they were all going to have to write over the time we spend with out penpals, in fact, they had to write one today... Really it was quite a bit in Alex's opinion, forcing them to talk with people over the internet, whether they wanted to or not. They hadn't been told much, but Alex assumed they weren't going to get a good grade if they wrote all bad things about their penpal.

John continued to rant on about his penpal in a hushed voice. He typed away at his computer as he talked and Alex started tune him out as she talked with Ben. She wanted to talk with him, and anyway, it was difficult to listen to John rant and talk with Ben. Also, she just didn't want to listen to John talk about his penpal.

Me: Help!

My classmate next to me is ranting about his partner!

I don't know what to do!

Ben: Listen to him :3

I'll stop talking to you now

He needs someone right now

Me: You little-

Why would you do this to me?

I needed you!

:(

I looked back up to John, sighing inwardly. I tried to look interested, although it was kind of difficult. I hadn't talked with John. This was actually the most they'd talked since they'd first met each other after having their seats assigned next to each other.

"-Anyways, I'm probably boring you. How's your penpal?" John finished, taking in a deep breath as though he hadn't breathed his entire rant and then letting it all out in a huge sigh. John looked up. It'd actually been a while since he'd looked up at her. Maybe the whole rant, she didn't know. Considering how horrible this partner was, Alex didn't know what was so interesting on his screen unless he wasn't actually talking to his partner.

"Oh, he's nice..." Alex didn't want to make John jealous or anything. She didn't know what kind of guy he was, so she didn't take any chances. Anyways, there really wasn't that much to talk about. At least she thought.
