It was Princess Mi Soo's second day in Silla. She sat in the park near the palace, observing the surroundings. Her brothers were attending the court for discussions today. While Nearby, Chan and Hansol were engrossed in an archery competition, with Seungkwan acting as the refree.

As she looked around, her gaze settled on Jun, who was deep in conversation with Hansol’s personal royal guard, Hwang Minhyun

As Princess Mi Soo wandered closer, she unknowingly stepped into a restricted area of the palace, a place forbidden to those from other kingdoms. The entrance she walked through was grand and imposing, framing the traditional architecture of Silla with its intricate wooden carvings and ornate roof. Unaware of the prohibition, she continued forward, her curiosity leading her deeper into the unfamiliar territory.

Princess Mi Soo admired the beautiful architecture, her eyes tracing the intricate details of the carvings and the vibrant colors that adorned the building. The quiet elegance of the place captivated her, and she found herself wandering deeper into the area, lost in the beauty of it all.

As she walked further, she noticed a small pavilion to the side, where an ancient gong was displayed. Drawn to its polished surface and the delicate patterns etched into the metal, she stepped closer. Without thinking, she reached out and lightly tapped the gong with her fingertips, producing a soft, resonant tone that echoed through the silent courtyard.

The sound, though gentle, seemed to awaken the entire space. Within moments, the silence was broken by the hurried footsteps of soldiers rushing towards her. They surrounded her, their faces stern, weapons at the ready.

One of the soldiers stepped forward, his voice firm and commanding. “This area is strictly off-limits to everyone except the king himself. You have violated the rules of the palace and you even touched the gong.”

Mi Soo’s heart raced as she realized the gravity of her mistake. The soldiers, not knowing her identity as a princess, prepared to take her into custody. Panic flashed in her eyes, but she remained composed, trying to think of a way to explain herself before the situation escalated further. "No i didn't mean to violate the rules. I am from Goryeo".

Just then, the soldiers harshly grabbed her by the arms from both sides, their grips tight and unyielding.

“Who do you think you are, wandering into forbidden territory?” one of them snarled.

“Just another spy from a rival kingdom, sneaking around where you don’t belong,” the other soldier added with a sneer, his voice filled with contempt.

You’ll regret setting foot in this place,” the first soldier continued as they began dragging her back towards the main gate. “We’ll make sure you’re punished for this.”

Princess Mi Soo winced at their harsh words, her heart pounding as they pulled her roughly away from the beautiful architecture she had been admiring just moments before.

The soldiers dragged Princess Mi Soo, her cries ignored, her once immaculate appearance now disheveled and messy. Tears streaked her face, but the soldiers paid no attention as they hauled her towards the royal court. As they reached the grand doors where the council meeting was in session, one of the soldiers stepped forward to inform the royal guard about the situation so that he can inform the king.

The guard entered the court, bowing respectfully before speaking. “Your Majesties, I apologize for the interruption, but we have found a spy from Goryeo within the palace grounds.”

The atmosphere in the room shifted immediately. Mingyu, Seokmin, Jihoon, and Wonwoo became alert, their eyes narrowing. Seungcheol’s expression darkened, and he angrily stood up, his voice filled with accusation, “King Kim Mingyu, I did not expect this betrayal from your kingdom.”

Mingyu quickly responded, his voice calm but firm. “No, King Seungcheol, this must be a mistake. I assure you, there is no spy sent by Goryeo.”

Bring that spy here,” Seungcheol commanded, his eyes flashing with anger.

The doors swung open, and the soldiers roughly dragged Mi Soo inside, throwing her to the ground at the center of the room. She stumbled, barely catching herself with her hands, her hair falling in disarray around her tear-streaked face. The room fell silent as all eyes turned to the young woman, her disheveled state and trembling form a stark contrast to the regal setting of the court.

Mingyu and the others stood up immediately, their faces a mix of shock and anger. Minghao was the first to react, storming over to the soldiers with fury in his eyes. Without hesitation, he drew his sword and pressed it against the neck of the soldier who had dragged Mi Soo in. “How dare you treat her this way!” he spat, his voice low and dangerous.

Mingyu rushed to his sister’s side, kneeling beside her and gently lifting her up. “Mi Soo, are you okay?” he asked, his voice filled with concern as he brushed the hair out of her face, trying to soothe her. His heart sank seeing her in such a state.
