"The grasp of The Gnome 👑🏴‍☠️🌳"

[Y/n's POV]———————————————————
(Sorry that Y/n won't be getting much attention in this chapter but with good reason.)

It was another work night for me at this medieval fair that happens every year, my shift had ended so I decided to get out of my work dress put my hair back into its H/l braid and walk around to see what I could do while I was still here but then I got the idea of getting dinner for me and Ray since Mom and Dad were going pull some night shifts.

So I headed to where the food stands were, ordered my to go food and stood at the side waiting for my food to be done then I saw another person dressed as a pirate, I couldn't tell you how many times I saw people dressed as pirates at this fair but the only thing I could hope for is that my employer or better known as the Queen doesn't go off on the next person she sees as a pirate because this fair was to be a historically accurate medieval fair. She really is a sweet old lady if you got to know her and she really loves doing these fairs because it gives her the opportunity to see kids learn all about medieval times and have fun at the same time but when people started to dress as pirate's at this years fair she didn't like it one bit but she knew that her employees could handle those pirate people and that includes me as well because my part time job required me to be the Queen's lady in waiting who could perform with other ladies in waiting as a small female choir group.

She was really happy when I was able compromise songs that wasn't just medieval song's but some sea shanties for solo singing as well to make sure that the people who dressed as pirates still feel like they're still at a fair in times of old, though the Queen didn't like the pirates, she knew that her employees will do a fine job.

Yeah this is why I had asked Daphne to give me some singing lessons, I needed this part time job to earn money so me and Ray could just have emergency money on hand ready to be used though I remembered that the gang will be coming to the fair soon for a surprise that I have set up just for them.

I'm so excited to show them!, it brings a smile to my face every time I think about it, I had asked the Queen for permission to let my friend's come to the fair for free and I was able to pull some more shifts in turn for the gang to get V.I.P seats for the surprise. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard a guy shouting and some kind of crazy laugh come from a small ally between buildings then I saw a girl go to where the screaming was coming from and then she started to scream as well and I ran to where she was and saw a guy still as a statue with blue crack like scares all over his body and they were glowing.

My eyes widen as the girl called 911, my thought was "Oh no" and the only thing I could think of is that the gang gets here sooner than they were supposed to be, hoping they could help save this fair.

🎼Cue the Theme Song!🎼
———————[Narrator's POV]—————————

Trumpet's play loud and clear as a Lord named Barry welcomes people to the fair as they go into the fair grounds, with the Queen who was sitting on her throne, Y/n sat next to her wearing a black cloak which was hiding her dress but her hood was down, her hair was in a half up bun with some kind of gold hair net on her bun as a decoration.

The Jester was entertaining the Queen with Y/n watching the guest walk by, "Lord Barry's got to relax about pirates mixing with the knights and damsels, I told him not to worry about historical inaccuracies.

More people, more money." Said the Jester but he got bonked on the head with the Queens scepter "ow" he said rubbing his head, "Quite fool, all fair should be kept historically untainted otherwise who knows what sort of shambling low lives will arrive." Said the Queen and Y/n just shook her head and then saw the gang which made her eyes light up with joy, she got up from her spot quickly and went in front of the Queen.
