At the balcony of the building, Grem and Acer prepares the Artificial Storm Destroyer, a weapon made by Professor Zundapp intending to turn friendly artificial into hostile ones. Using a control device, Grem sends a signal from the Artificial Storm Destroyer. This signal contains a powerful virus designed to infiltrate and corrupt any nearby technology.
As the signal spreads, it infects all the inventions and technologies within the center. Robots, once helpful and benign, begin to glitch, twitch, and transform into monstrous versions of themselves. Advanced AI systems, now under the influence of the virus, override their original programming and adopt aggressive, hostile behaviors. The crowd, initially amazed by the technological wonders, quickly descends into panic. People scream and scramble to escape as once-friendly robots and devices turn into threats.
The transformed technologies wreak havoc, smashing displays, attacking visitors, and causing widespread destruction. The air fills with the sounds of shattering glass, malfunctioning machines, and terrified screams. Amid the chaos, Grem and Acer stand back, watching with satisfaction as their plan unfolds. Their grins widen as they see the center fall into complete disarray. With a sense of control, Grem continues to manipulate the Destroyer, ensuring the chaos remains unchecked and intensifies.
Grem: "Gotta keep doing more chaos."
Meanwhile at the Free World City suspension bridge, members of the Villains Apex Super Syndicate gather at strategic points around the bridge. They are cloaked in shadows, blending into the surroundings to avoid immediate detection. Key figures like Miles Axlerod, Professor Zündapp, and General Grievous orchestrate the plan, giving orders to their subordinates and coordinating the night's mischief.
Professor Z: "A beautiful night. Perfect for scaring some people."
General Grievous: *mechanical maniac laugh* "This will gonna be fun."
Dr. Eggman: "Let the show begins."
The villains start by creating small disturbances to build tension. Smoke bombs and firecrackers go off at both ends of the bridge, causing confusion and minor panic among the people crossing the bridge.
Underneath the bridge, villains like Dr. Eggman and Mojo Jojo deploy their mechanical minions to tamper with the support cables alongside the buzz droids. They use advanced tools to subtly weaken the structural integrity, making it appear like an accidental failure. The Dazzlings and Queen Chrysalis' Changelings use their abilities to further frighten the pedestrians. The Dazzlings' haunting melodies echo through the night, inducing fear and hallucinations, while Chrysalis transform into monstrous figure, causing widespread terror.
Male Citizen: "WHAT IS THAT?!"
All: *panicking*
Admist the chaos going on in the bridge, a two mustache brothers with the red one on the driver seat and a green one on the other seat, and they were the plumber brothers, Mario and Luigi, along with them is Yoshi and they were listening to some music in the plumbing van.
Luigi: "Mario. Why are they running? What's going on?"
Mario: "I do not know..."
As the bridge begins to destabilize, people start to notice the unusual movements and sounds. Screams pierce the air as the first signs of structural failure become evident. Vehicles come to a halt, and drivers abandon their cars, adding to the chaos.
Luigi: "Why do I heard rumbling sounds and the cables going off?"
Mario: "I know why they are running. The BRIDGE IS GONNA COLLAPSE!! MAMA MIA!!!!!"
Mario and Luigi: *scared and screaming*
Yoshi: *scared* "Yoshi's scared."
The combination of sabotage and scare tactics causes mass hysteria. People rush to escape, some even jumping into the river in desperation. Parents clutch their children, trying to find a safe path off the bridge as it sways and creaks ominously. With a final command, the villains initiate a partial collapse. One of the main support cables snaps with a thunderous crack, sending a shockwave of terror through the crowd. The bridge tilts dangerously, throwing people off balance and causing vehicles to slide. Watching from their concealed positions, the villains revel in the chaos they have unleashed. Laughter and jeers fill the night as they observe the terrified masses scrambling for safety. As the villains' retreat, emergency services rush to the scene. Firefighters, police, and paramedics work frantically to rescue those trapped on the bridge and prevent a complete collapse.
Free World City Police Officer 1: "We gotta call the Multiverse Defenders. They were the ones who will help us especially the bridge is gonna collapse soon."
Free World City Police Officer 2: "Right!"
At the headquarters of the Multiverse Defenders, alarms blares around the area as the urgency calls and WSFS Director Aeliana Theron immediately calls the attention of the defenders. Screens flash with footage of the bridge and the showcase center in chaos, accompanied by frantic reports from emergency services.
Director Aeliana Theron: "Defenders, we have a situation. It looks like the villains make some troubles at every part of the city including on the technological showcase center and the suspension bridge. We gotta hurry up before everything turns worse."
"Immortals" by Fall Out Boy begins to play, setting an intense and motivating tone for the heroes' preparation.
The heroes equip themselves with a variety of weapons and tools. Optimus Prime and his team perform final checks on their weaponry. Charlie Morningstar adjusts his bowtie, ready to charm his way through any obstacle. The team huddles for a quick strategy session, mapping out their rescue and containment plan. Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell provide intel from the ISIAN.
Finn McMissile: "Some of you will split to handle the two areas."
Twilight Sparkle, as a leader, gives a quick, encouraging speech.
Twilight Sparkle: "This is our moment. We save the innocent and show these villains they can't break our spirit, and they cannot get away from justice and magic of friendship."
As the song's chorus kicks in, the Multiverse Defenders charge out of the headquarters in a dynamic, slow-motion sequence. Engines roar, wings spread, and magic flares as they head towards the two areas and split into different teams to deal with it. The first team consisting of Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Knuckles, Tails, Arcee, Bulkhead, Shadow the Hedgheog, Rouge, Charlie Morningstar, and other members arrives at the technology showcase center that was in chaos with remnants of the glass and small fires. They engage the monstrous technologies, using their unique abilities and teamwork to protect the citizens and neutralize the threat.
Knuckles: "Wonder what could have been the reason to turn these friendly bots into aggressive scary ones."
Rouge: "Maybe there is some sort of a source that could have been transformed them."
