ISAIAH

As soon as I left Sky, the calm I held while holding her began to dissolve. The satisfaction of being close to her, holding her, feeling her body respond to mine couldn't mask the darker part of the night that was ahead. I looked at my phone, where mom's missed calls from earlier lingered. I should've been going home, but I wasn't. Instead, I drove straight to Aiden's place, nearly breaking every speed limit.

Pulling up to his house, I felt the familiar tension creep back into my chest. I hopped of my car, marching to his door knocking twice before the door swung open. Aiden was standing there, his face tight with impatience.

"Took you long enough" he muttered, stepping aside to let me in.

I smirked, walking past him. "Had to take care of something" I said casually, not elaborating. The memory of Sky's body trembling under my touch still lingered in my mind, but I pushed it aside. That wasn't why I was here.

As I stepped into the living room, I saw Liam sitting on a couch, watching over a tied up boy beside him. The kid looked my age, maybe in his late teens. His face was swollen from what I could only assume was a rough introduction to Aiden and Liam's way of handling things.

I walked in and sat down in front of the kid, lighting a cigarette. I watched him for a minute, as I inhaled the smoke in, while my eyes turned to Liam who ripped the tape off his mouth. The boy gasped for air, his chest heaving as he coughed violently. I watched, waiting for him to stop, my patience wearing thin.

"Who the hell sent you to L.A" I asked calmly exhaling the smoke creating traces of rough smoke around us.

The boy didn't answer. His eyes darted between me, Liam and Aiden, but his lips remained sealed. That pissed me off. I stood up placing the cigarette between my lips, my body moving before I even thought about it, and landed a solid punch across his face. His head snapped to the side, and I saw blood starting to pour from his nose. I inhaled the smoke in before exhaling it on to his face and pushing the cig onto his skin causing a scream to escape his mouth.

"Who. Sent. You. Here." I repeated, each word colder than the last while adding more force to the skin causing a burn mark to form.
Still nothing. He kept his mouth shut, but I could see the fear creeping into his eyes.

I punched him again, this time even harder. His nose was definitely shattered, blood gushing down his face staining his gray shirt. I felt a strange sense of satisfaction seeing him bleed, but I didn't stop. I kept hitting him until he was trembling, until his breaths were shaky gasps.

Finally, between sobs, the boy whimpered. "I'll tell you...please...stop..."

I stepped back shaking the blood off my knuckles, watching him. "Took you long enough. Now tell me, why the hell would you come all the way here from Brooklyn to harass my girlfriend?"

His eyes widened in panic, and lips trembled. "I...I didn't know Sky was your girl." He cried, his voice cracking with fear.

The rage inside me intensified. Liam and I had seen him earlier today, following Sky and the girls at the nearby store, sneaking behind them like a goddamn creep. We even caught him taking pictures of them, as they came out of the store. But what really set me off, was when we overheard him on the phone, calling Sky a "The Brooklyn slut". Those words still echoed in my head, fueling fire in my veins.

I hit him once more, just for the memory of it, and twice for calling her a slut. My knuckles were sore, but the pain barely registered as I kept hitting him.

Liam stepped forward and grabbed my arm before I could land another punch, his grip frim. "Enough, we can't bury a body tonight."

"Yea man, and you getting my carpet stained with blood. I don't want to wash that nasty shit." Aiden said yawning, clearly bored.
